Prrayer to turn from addictions

Please pray for these folks whose lives are being severely affected by their addictions: Daniel, Manuel, Scott Amin and Eddie, who are struggling mightily with substance abuse. Kevin struggles with sexual and money addictions due to his childhood traumas. Please pray for these guys, they are all homeless and alone, with no one to care or pray for them.
 
For all who suffer from addictions, that they be freed from the chains that bind them.

Praying very hard for them to overcome their addictions and homelessness!
 
Keeping all these homeless and alone men in daily prayer. I am confident The Lord has great compassion and understanding with overwhelming Mercy - homelessness and poverty is a tremendous trial and more than most of us will ever know…

I was just given this Novena to St. Maximilian Kolbe and it is perfect for this thread.

I am beginning this Novena today.

Novena to St. Maximilian Kolbe
St. Maximilian Kolbe, your life of love and labor for souls was sacrificed amid the horrors of a concentration camp and hastened to its end by an injection of a deadly drug.

Look with compassion upon (name of person) who is now entrapped in addiction to (drugs / alcohol) and whom we now recommend to your powerful intercession.

Having offered your own life to preserve that of a family man, we turn to you with trust, confident that you will understand and help.

Obtain for us the grace never to withhold our love and understanding, nor to fail in persevering prayer that the enslaving bonds of addiction may be broken and that full health may be restored to him/her whom we love.

We will never cease to be grateful to God who has helped us and heard your prayer for us. Amen.​

Blessed Lord, You conceived of and created each of these souls from all eternity as a crucial part of Your Divine plan. As they struggle and wander far from You, may Your loving call to them resound loudly in their hearts, causing them to draw upon their reserve of spiritual strength and repent. Graciously send Your angels to watch over them in their travels and actions, so that, even though they sin, Your mighty protection will shelter them. In Your mercy, provide that moment, that person, that perfect place for them to collapse under the weight of their sin and cry out to You for saving Grace. Once their hearts have turned Lord, send workers to minister to them, guiding them gently to You. We ask this through Christ, our Lord, Who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, One God for ever and ever. Amen, Alleluia!

AMEN,PRAYING,WILL KEEP THESE FOLKS IN MY NIGHTLY PRAYERS,MAY GOD HELP THEM AND BE WITH THEM,THROUGH JESUS NAME I PRAY
 
I have seen some small improvements in Kevin, thank you and please keep praying for him and for the others. We need to recognize and pray for those who are forgotten by the world in the Lord’s name. Blessed be God in His angels and His saints!

Hopeful news re Kevin…Deo Gratius…continuing to keep him and all in daily prayer…
 
Praying for them now… Lord please help them to fight and win the battle of addiction, and Lord please watch over them… :signofcross:
