Putin ‘Probably Approved’ Litvinenko Poisoning, British Inquiry Says

Kind of hard to believe one guy possibly being poisoned by Putin made the headlines, but anyone remember that old apartment building explosion, that one police detective said stunk of Putin?

I watched a piece on this and when the detective went to his superiors, he was told, in Russia, the president is never investigated no matter what the crime.
 
What is scary is how many on the right seem to want to provoke a war with Russia.
A war the west would lose.
We really need to stop the saber-rattling.

There sure are several individuals, supporting the USSR/Russia, posting propaganda on this forum. Calling the Soviet Union/USSR as a failed experiment due to a naive view of human nature and you can fuhgeddaboutit today … Wow!

Old “Uncle Joe” Stalin was just an eccentric relative I suppose and everyone misses him. Don’t forget Marx and Lenin - it was sort of all their idea anyway.

These killings that have taken place are not “accidents” or coincidence. Defending the descendants of the USSR by pretending it is all drummed up by people who just won’t like Putin and “all his wonderfulness” is reminiscent of the 1940s, 50s, 60, 70s, 80s, 90, 2010s right up to tomorrow. It is in the DNA by now.

What gives me pause is one fervent believer claims Ireland as home and another claims England. Is there a reason why Russia is not a choice of residence? Why so much support? Is it voluntary or a source of income to promote all things USSR/Russia?

Litvenenko co-wrote a book talking about this (he provides the info per my understanding while the other author has the journalistic know how), I’m not sure as to all of which parties were investigated. It sounds like the facts that they detail indicate government involvement, the one thing is, is that I am unsure if Putin himself was fingered in the investigatory piece in the actions of bombing the apartments themselves. A cover up might be a different question though. Needless to say, there are articles on the web addressing this.

Can one present evidence of where Stanley Hilton was a US Government Official? I find little on this person except that he is a disbarred lawyer: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stanley_Hilton

I note, 911 has been fully investigated.

The apartment bombings in Russia may have been fully investigated but from the little I know, I do believe, the investigations themselves do cast suspicion indeed on Russian agencies and this would be a big difference.

I personally have visited Russia and loved the people, their culture and sense of pride.

So it’s not ‘cloak and dagger’ reasoning. :rolleyes:.

Hence, I am sick of seeing Russia’s leaders and Russians being constantly bullied, slandered and unfairly treated by the Western media when anything reported can be thrown back at all Western governments, 10x over. ‘Russia’s killed civilians in Syria’, (like no Western government’s ever done that :rolleyes:); ‘Russia’s anti-gay’; Russia’s intelligence agency ‘may’ have killed a Russian, and it was *‘probably’ *ordered by Putin.All of these ‘stories’ could be written about any Western country - well, mind you, aside from the anti-gay ones. :rolleyes:

What is the West so scared off, by Russia - they’re all obviously shaking in their boots about something. China, North Korea, Saudi Arabia, etc., etc.,practically nothing written or reported.

The latest ‘bad-naughty-Ruskie’ bashing stick being Russia’s alleged treatment of gay people, again totally incorrectly, reported by the media and further trumpeted by the Western politicians.

Russia passed a gay propaganda law that was aimed at school kids 🤷 - which, I’m quite positive, parents in many Western countries would ‘love’ to have passed, in their countries, now that gay propaganda is being widely distributed into their schools.

Stalin was terribly evil. But it was US president FDR who called him ‘Uncle Joe’. FDR apparently thought he’d fit right in with his kind and kin.

Its a lot of stepping back into time but “Uncle Joe” was not flattering. Stalin was called lots of things but “Uncle Joe” captured the essence. Trying to slam FDR doesn’t fit. Not that I would object to slamming that was deserved. :rolleyes:

Did you spend alot of time in Russia? What did you learn about their history and type of government they have endured? Do you think it is all better today? We have large settlements of Russians in the US; Brooklyn NY and strangely, Traverse City MI.
Some groups are known as “Russian Mafia”, so it all depends.

Never heard of an Irish mob. The USA has always been above average and is on its way to being referred to as “great” again it is said by many.

If the Russian government at the highest level was not involved in this poisoning, then why have they shown so little interest in following up to find who was responsible for this kind of poisoning?

Highly sensitive, highly radioactive, highly controlled substances being used in murders is something that would be of vital interest to any government in charge of control of these substances.

The mere lack of interest by Putin and his administration alone demonstrates the high probability of his involvement.
 
What I was alluding to in post #24 is that Israel should be the focus of this investigation, not Russia. Litvenenko had just returned from Israel, at the behest of his Israeli-Russian gangster employer Boris Berezovsky. Now, Berezovsky himself was an enemy of Putin, and he also died of Polonium poisoning, but we must carefully look at who exactly he was. It would be uncharitable for me to say that the widespread accusations of his amoral viciousness are true, but it’s something to consider. I’ll leave it up to CAF members own research to try and get a feel for what type of person he was. The Russians themselves suggest that he may have been smuggling Polonium into Europe for some unknown reason, and that he accidentally died as a result. This makes sense, because Polonium was found on all of his private jets, homes, businesses, etc. Even if Polonium were placed in an iron pig for safety, it’s an extremely toxic substance, and even it’s dust is lethal. It’s not a substance that can be hidden either, because with the right technology it can be detected anywhere. So that leads us to Israel. Do I believe that Israel should have it’s nuclear program opened to IAEA inspection or face the harshest possible sanctions? Yes, I absolutely do. But that’s the subject of another thread. I’ll just ask, why is it that Yasser Arafat’s body had so much Polonium in it? Did the Swiss authorities lie about it?

Did Vladimir Putin kill Arafat, too?
