Firstly I would like to state, that theologically I do disagree in many areas with the religion of Islam however, we, (both Christians and Muslims) have to in my opinion put things into perspective before we divide ourselves. Is it not true that we live in a world where abortion is seen as another type of birth control, where humans of all ages practice sexual infidelity, where every 3 seconds a child of God dies of the worlds most curable killer- poverty, where pollution is ecologically destroying the planet that we live on, where Western/Eastern Governments led by so called Christians/Muslims invest mega sums of money into the development of Weapons of Mass destruction which can only destroy and never restore humanity. Where kids turn to alcoholism and sticking needles in their arms as a way of escaping social reality, where unemployment reduces man to the state of idleness and helps to erode his personal dignity, where pornography of all levels leeches itself into the minds of the venerable, breeding lust and idolatry which can only be described as the love of the devil. Is it not true that whether Christian or Muslim these things have to be deplored?

I can soundly sleep at night knowing that someone down the road believes in Allah and the Koran, but I might have a problem sleeping if I realised that all the above are a reality. The problems of society are far to grave for us to divide along theological lines., because as soon as we divide all of the above will continue to develop. Whether Muslim or Christian , a world where people have mulitple homes where some go homeless is wrong, a world where people waste food in abundence when others go starving is wrong, a world where it is just as easy for a female to remove a tooth from her body as a human life is wrong.

We must remember as Christians, that whatsoever, we do to the least of our brothers, that we do unto our saviour as well. So I would rather join with my Muslim brothers and sisters and fight the evils of poverty, abortion, war, racism, atheism etc than be bogged down in a theological debate, where there will be no winner other than contempt and hate and all the evils above will continue to grow from it.

Muslims and Chrisitians are together in rectifying such things within society, though im afraid things will just continue to get worse so long as this culture of ‘freedom’ and ‘liberty’ carries on in society.

I find it difficult to understand why christianity separates religion and state… how is a society going to abide by God’s orders if God’s laws are not applied by the state? If the state is not governed by religion, it will be governed by man-made laws, void of guidance and bound to change according to the whims and desires of men. Thus is the reason the world is what it is today. And i say again, it will only get worse so long as society take ‘freedom’ and ‘liberty’ to further limits.

How does man impose God’s law?

How can another human judge what’s between God and man?

Christians had tried this but it didn’t work - when the clergy tried to meddle into governance. No matter how good was the intention.

A religous person would surely makes good political leader if he/she can survive the demand and intrigue of politic. Otherwise unscrupulous politicians in effort to win political support would surely cannot sustain personal religous requirement. Thus it’s not practical to mix church and state.
