Why would a Christian say something like that?

Because this Christian is sick of the Quebec tail wagging the Canadian dog.Because Canada has been blackmailed by this province for 45 years and many of the inhabitants of the ROC would love them to be seperate so that we can get on with our lives.My Christian love for the people of Quebec has nothing to do with Political Reality in Canada.You as a Quebecois should know EXACTLY what I am referring to

.But let’s not bore the others here with a family squabble.It is my fervent wish that the next referendum on seperation be successful;and then seperation will occur on Canada’s not Quebec’s terms-ergo it will never happen but Quebecs bluff will finally be called and the seperatists,Pequistes and the ghost of Rene Levesque will finally be laid to rest.Comprends?

My friend, this is not about a family squabble. This is about Quebec/Canada being a testing ground for unity. This kind of thing is happening all over the world in different ways.
As Christians, we are called to the bigger picture, to be inspired by God’s perspective, to Godly thinking, and not driven by human thinking. Try praying for conversion of hearts, reconciliation and unity. Nothing is impossible with God.

Agreed mon ami,but it takes two parties in all sincerity to reconcile,and with the Bloc that is sent to parliament by the voters of Quebec,that is impossible.Quebec is completely unilingual with the ROC being completely bilingual-by completely you know services must be offered in both official languages in ROC but not in Quebec.That is the tail wagging the dog.The French are one of the Two founding cultures a fact that I am proud(fier)of,but the Pequiste blackmail has sickened me and many in Ontario and the West.I truly feel that seperation would be the best thing for all concerned.I am sure that the same thing will happen in Belgium.When one member of a family constantly threatens to leave who can blame the others after pleading and giving into emotionsal and fiscal blackmail for decades from saying,"GO!"With our love and blessings.I was born in St Boniface,Manitoba,and was completely bilingual as a child,taught in French at Kindergarten by nuns Belgique,all that will be gone because of the juvenile petulance of La Belle Province.“je m’souviens”,aussi…Bon Chance.
