Mary the mother of Jesus shall be called blessed in every generation. There was no greater woman of faith in the bible. Not Sarah, not Deborah, not Rahab, not Ruth.
Jesus honored her request at Cana even though it was not His time.

That being said,

there are no coincidences in the spiritual life.
Who was Fatima?
Who was the original queen of heaven?

Oh…so we don’t call Jesus the King of kings because some other mortal king used that title first and he wasn’t a believer or god …

Man…you will believe bloody well ANYthing . 😛

1 Samuel 8: 1 - 22 - Study This Chapter
1
Now it came to pass when Samuel was old that he made his sons judges over Israel. 2 The name of his firstborn was Joel, and the name of his second, Abijah; they were judges in Beersheba. 3 But his sons did not walk in his ways; they turned aside after dishonest gain, took bribes, and perverted justice. 4 Then all the elders of Israel gathered together and came to Samuel at Ramah, 5 and said to him, “Look, you are old, and your sons do not walk in your ways. Now make us a king to judge us like all the nations.” 6 But the thing displeased Samuel when they said, “Give us a king to judge us.” So Samuel prayed to the Lord. 7 And the Lord said to Samuel, "Heed the voice of the people in all that they say to you; for they have not rejected you, but they have rejected Me, that I should not reign over them.

Can you answer my posting?

It is not Gods will that His people be led by a king (pope) as other nations/peoples are.

Do you not see that 1 Sam refers to this?

Jesus appointed a Pope and Jesus is the King of Kings,so in effect are you trying to agree that it is not out of the question that Jesus did give Peter the job?

This is BUNK! You allege foolishness…Jesus is the King of Kings…right or wrong? Only someone ignorant of real Catholic teaching would even make such a remark!

His Holiness is NOT a king…he’s the first among equals of our bishops…if you’d bothered to read real Catholic teaching then maybe you wouldn’t’ve just stuck your foot in your mouth clear to the hip.

You are using the passage in 1st Samuel totally out of context and in that light it would mean that we are not to have any government…

Yeah? and you have either lost your mind or don’t know what you are talkin’ about. Trade those idiotic books and tapes in on something by Billy Graham or C.S. Lewis…somebody who kows what they’re talkin’ about 'cos whatever you’ve been reading and studying about us just made you look like a complete ninny. That is about the dumbest thing I’ve heard in GKW…and you really believe that?
Whew! That’s just wrong…http://pages.prodigy.net/rogerlori1...prodigy.net/rogerlori1/emoticons/laughing.gif
