Well, to be completely practical:
If you are already at church for confession on Saturday, why don’t you just stay for Saturday Mass? This fulfills your Sunday obligation, and then you can go golf with a clean slate on Sunday.
That may have sounded flippant, but - there are multiple opportunities still to worship our Lord within the scenario that you described (go Saturday, go to Mass before the game, go after). To reject our Lord completely in favor of golf does at quick glance seem to be rather flippant itself.
Now, if it’s a mandatory work thing, there are no other Mass opportunities, you’re out of town and there is no Catholic Church nearby – those are valid reasons to miss Mass. But from what you described, it sounds like a pure rejection of God’s will in favor of your own. That is the sin, not the golf itself.
