Question about Imitation of Christ Book

Dear everyone 🙂 In the book Imitation of Christ by Thomas Kempis, Chapter 26 called “On the Excellence of a Free Mind, the Reward of Humble Prayer Rather Than of Reading” - I read this chapter, but there is nothing in the chapter about prayer and reading - why is the title of the chapter so much different than the actual contents in that chapter?

My book says: Chapter 26 - The Excellence of a Free Mind, Gained Through Prayer Rather Than By Study.
 
There are many modern translations of The Imitation of Christ. Not all are completely accurate. One edition is like “Hey, what’s happenin’ man?”

Almost that bad.
