The understanding of Sacred Scripture has developed, due to the God-given legitimate authority of the Church on matters of faith and morals.

John 16:12

“I have much more to tell you, but you cannot bear it now.”
Exactically! 👍

It’s quite possible that those Saints stayed on earth, spreading the news about Jesus to others, perhaps especially to members of their own families, until He ascended. Like John says, " 21: [25] But there are also many other things which Jesus did; which, if they were written every one, the world itself, I think, would not be able to contain the books that should be written." There are also many other things that occurred during those early days of the Church that were not all written down, either. Those are some of the things that were only passed on orally, through the Sacred Tradition of the early Church.
My view Telstar, would be those saints went into heaven, with glorified bodies when Christ ascended, along with the souls of those in Hades. There is no indication that any of them lived on earth and died again. I also find it hard to believe Christ would resurrect them bodily only to have them return to the grave and their bodies decay once again taking them into heaven in soul only. Lazarus was not resurrected but was called back from death. His body was intact even though it had started to decay. The first fruits was a small sample of the field. I think those saints were a small sample of the most faithful saints.

I’m sorry if I gave the impression that I thought those souls continued living on earth, after they were resurrected. That’s not what I meant, at all. I thought I was clear about it, but I guess not. My opinion is the same as yours, that they may have walked the earth, occasionally appearing to people around Jerusalem before Jesus ascended into Heaven, but I think they were also taken up to Heaven when He ascended. I also agree that Lazarus and others that were raised from the dead shortly after they died, were a completely different story.

Sorry I missed your remark, until he ascended.
