Yes, Jesus indicated in the gospel to even think about another in a sexual manner is the same as adultry.
We can appreciate the great design God established and the attraction he gave us for each other, that prompts us to participate in creating more souls for heaven. We must show respect for his gifts though. We need to follow his example and teaching.

I think Maxirad means the difference between having physical urgings and dwelling on them. I find there is a difference, personally. They mentioned lusting - not *thinking *in a lustful way.How can you think of someone in a lustful way but not desire to have sexual relations? Isn’t that what lusting is, sexual fantasy or “I would if I could”.
Or perhaps there is a different term? The ambiguity of language may be confusing issues here :idea:

The reason why lust is a grave sin is because you are treating that women like a Sexual object. An object purely to appease your own sexual desires/thoughts/fantasy etc.
Sirach 9:8 Turn away your eyes from a shapely woman, and do not gaze at beauty belonging to another; many have been seduced by a woman’s beauty, and by it passion is kindled like a fire. 9 Never dine with another man’s wife, or revel with her at wine; or your heart may turn aside to her, and in blood you may be plunged into destruction.
The OT warns us about the consequences. The Primal instincts they had then even exist in all of us today we are so suseptible to them, so remember “just look away”
