Question about Mass?

I recently started going back to church last sunday, but the mass that I went I felt completly lost because the priest was reading it in Latin, I was soo lost, and I felt like I sinned because I could not sing along or understand it, i’m really dissapointed in myself, but I really focused all the way thru it, I wasn’t looking around or anything I was just focusing as hard as I can but still couldn’t understand it, anybody got any tips?should I go to the english mass?

I frequently attend Masses in languages I do not understand and cannot speak. It’s not a sin not to understand the language someone else is speaking.

You can go to an English Mass, of course! But you can also familiarize yourself with or even carry an English translation of the liturgy with you.

I cannot, for example, pray the Creed in Korean. I do, however, know the Creed in English, so I am able to pray it silently at the same time it is being prayed aloud in Korean.

Check your diocesan web site and find the closest 4-5 churches near you and check their websites for an Ordinary Form mass or one that says English if its a bilingual parish. Also other good indicators would be if its a Newman center or has a school. These are the the parishes that would be a regular English mass.
