Infinity is one of God’s attributes, but since there is no real distinction between God’s attributes and His essence, you may say that infinity is also identical to His essence. In the same manner, goodness, wisdom, etc. are attributes of God, but these perfections do not really differ from God’s essence. They only differ in our minds as different concepts of the same God. Since there is no real distinction, but only a “distinction reason” between God and His attributes, it would be correct to say, not merely that God is good, but also that God is Goodness itself. God is not merely wise, but He is Wisdom itself. Whatever God has, God Is. Therefore, you may also say, not only that God is infinite, but that He is Infinity itself. Is “infinity” one of God’s attributes or is it God’s nature?
