Question about "porn" / "pornography"

It is a mortal sin to watch porn…aswell with masterbation.

If you are struggling with porn, dont give up, keep praying that the Lord gives you strength and you should probably say a novena to St. Jude, he is the saint for struggle and desperate situations. It helps!

I know it is a sin, but …

what I’m not sure of is if it is a mortal or venial sin…
I was asking another person about it (also Catholic), and said it was a venial sin.

errr… >.> which is it [either way I’m going to try to not look at it if possible (in the future)…though just for reference I would like to know if it is or not. as I’m not sure about whether it’s a mortal or venial, and I would like to know, so I can 1) tell that other person that it is/or not 2) …well either way try not to…but if it is a mortal one…to try extra extra extra… hard to not do it after I find that information]
