Question about saint medals

[caitlin1]

I chose St. Catherine Laboure as my confirmation saint.
After my confirmation, I recieved a medal of St. Catherine of Siena instead, as they didn’t have my specific Saint’s medal.
Since I’ve never actually gotten a medal of St. Catherine Laboure, I want to get one. I would also love a Miraculous Medal. Could I use the Miraculous Medal to honor St. Catherine Laboure as well a reminder of St. Mary’s love and protection? This may sound like a silly question, but I’ve always wanted a St. Catherine Laboure medal, as I chose her as my confirmation Saint, but feel that having a Miraculous Medal would be a fitting way to honor her and the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Thanks in advance for any replies

Why not wear both? Or switch off? I wear a miraculous medal with a St Gerard medal and a cross.

I hope this link works. The Catholic shop online sells the medal of St. Catherine Laboure. I’m sure there are cheaper ones too.

I’m am certain that St. Catherine Laboure would love it if you wore the Miraculous Medal!!

There is a special promise attached to it, and it is the only medal that I know of that came straight from heaven, and from Our Lady no less!!!

God Bless.

St. Catherine Laboure would be quite pleased…for you will be doing what she promoted.

You can find mini Miraculous medals for sale that are lightweight and about 1/2 inch. When I’ve wanted to wear a particular saint medal, I’ve attached the mini miraculous medal to the necklace clasp in the back, sort of like a little clasp tag that you’ll see on name brand necklaces.
