I was wondering if instead of saying the apostles creed and hail holy queen if I can pray a psalm instead? Would this be blasphemy?
How could prayer be blasphemy?I was wondering if instead of saying the apostles creed and hail holy queen if I can pray a psalm instead? Would this be blasphemy?
No, but why couldn’t you just include them all in your Rosary, God Bless, MemawI was wondering if instead of saying the apostles creed and hail holy queen if I can pray a psalm instead? Would this be blasphemy?
If you want to pray the Psalms, why not do the Liturgy of the Hours, the official prayer of the Church?I was wondering if instead of saying the apostles creed and hail holy queen if I can pray a psalm instead? Would this be blasphemy?
follow the link in my last post to the one of the online LOTH sites (imho, the bestI’m not sure how the liturgy of hours works. Can you explain it?
The Liturgy of the Hours is the prayer of the entire Church. It is required that priests and the professed pray it daily. Individuals (the laity) are encouraged to pray as much of it as their situation in life allows. Thanks for the link but I’m still confused. Is the Liturgy something all the churches pray together?
God Bless
