Then consider this as an example

Change the name Wikipedia to Vatican. What if the Vatican put on all it’s documents they published, these Disclaimers , at the bottom of each page, would that be okay with you? Would you trust what the Vatican printed?

As far as my comments on Wiki, I’m merely voicing the opinion of the academic community. theguardian.com/education/2013/may/13/should-university-students-use-wikipedia
And I have seen it here when one quoted Wiki as referenced to serious topic, it would be as quick as the bullet flies get shot at. When I resort to Wiki I know I would be looking for someone’s work who has done their homework but knowing that their veracities is not carved in stone. It is not like when I would quote the Catechism or the Vatican documents.

As an aside. And yes, this is a digression. Perhaps we are not saying more about Lutherans is because what need to be said has been said, any more than necessary would only be rubbing it in and of course in deference to the presence of a Catholic priest here who does not want a candid personal take on this topic.

When they say this of themselves, Disclaimers
That I will believe.

When Henry Newman was still a Protestant, but trying to answer some vexing questions he had, through his investigative work, I obviously think the same questions he was trying to answer, are the same questions for Lutherans to answer.
