hello-- it is generally necessary to - be empowered and baptised in the holy spirit-- when answering the parcular questions you have put forth–
but if #1 is true-- ?? where does it say that in scripture–?
according to Saint paul – in Acts 19 –
“Did you receive the Holy Spirit when[a] you believed?”
They answered, “No, we have not even heard that there is a Holy Spirit.”
3 So Paul asked, “Then what baptism did you receive?”
“John’s baptism,” they replied.
and exponded upon in other locations in his witings-- Jesus left us a church fellowship where you could have the Holy Spirit down-loaded into you-- just like a smart phone–
17 I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit[f] of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better.
18 I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to
which he has called you,
1…Jesus clearly left us with a teaching church
- (hence the magisterial office)
3… and it was in existence for over a decade before any books of the New Testament were written,
4…which means that Jesus’ church was being infallibly guided by God.
- When did God stop infallibly guiding His church,
- and shift the emphasis to scripture alone?
7.I could not answer this question, as a former SS advocate.
Please keep the discussion light and breezy…
