I think it depends upon the young people involved and the families. I was listening to an Al Kresta podcast and he had a guest who was discussing the “case for marriage”. He was relating the problem of unchastity and other moral evils with the waiting for marriage at a later date when material gains or lifestyles could be achieved. One of the points that was made is that in times past people got married young and their parents continued to help them with whatever goods or finances they had. I don’t have any problem with parents continuing to help out young marrieds if it discerned that the time is right for marriage. If it was one of my kids I would probably still pay for college.
Even if no parental help will come there is still a case for a young marriage.
