I have been helping my boyfriend try and follow God’s teaching and have been talking with him about this. He is down and feels lost and abandoned by God. He has been talking with me about it and I feel that God used me last night to help my boyfriend Justin to understand that he can’t lose our Father’s love and that he has used me to help him through things that he has been going through i feel like God is/has been talking with him about this through me, so is it wrong to tell Justin that Father is using me to speak to him on his behalf through Father or is this blasphemy? Because I don’t want to offend Father.

Follow the advice you were given in the other thread:

Question about what I should do Moral Theology
Have you encouraged your boyfriend to seek professional help? That would be something you should do. Are you in contact at all with his sisters to inquire if he gets depressed around holidays as a rule or if this is new to him? I don’t know if your boyfriend is Catholic or not, but he could make an appointment to speak to a priest.
Do not claim to speak for God, your boyfriend needs professional help.

I do not think God is truly speaking through you.
Just let your words to him be your own, and let them come from your heart.

Have you suggested professional help to him? It is nice that you care about him, but you should not be carrying this for him. Nor are you trained to give him the help he needs.

The Psalms are very good to read at such times. Am thinking of Psalm 103 and 121. Maybe read them together and reflect on what they mean to you.

Bear with me here. In one sense, maybe Christ is feeling abandoned by your boyfriend. Have you two gone to adoration and spent time with him in Christ’s presence? No need to feel abandoned when the Lord is waiting for a visit!

No we haven’t. I haven’t even asked him about this and I’m not sure if he would go with me. I haven’t been in several years, but I would like to get back to adoration.

Aha! Potential solution is closer than you think. You don’t have to tell him why you are going, just go and ask him to accompany you. You can be invoking the power of the Holy Spirit upon him, then simply be patient. If he asks, tell him, as the foundation of what you are doing is love.
