If there is any doubt about that, however, the marriage is not to be impeded (canon 1084 §2), nor may it be declared null when there is any doubt.

There’s another serious flaw in using what Paul says in Romans to condemn many gay men nowadays. He speaks of how “females exchanged natural relations for unnatural, and the males likewise gave up natural relations with females and burned with lust for one another.” But many gay people have not exchanged heterosexual attractions and relations for gay ones. They’ve never been attracted to the opposite sex and aren’t changing anything about themselves if they have gay relationshilps.

So, I can see how it would be unnatural for a straight man to have sex with another man since he would be changing from what’s natural for him to something that’s unnatural for him. That’s probably what Paul is condemning here. And it would also be pretty unnatural for a gay man to try to have sex with a woman, so that would probably also be bad since the gay man would be exchanging something that is natural for him for something that is unnatural for him.

You’re right. I mean the majority of my country agreed marriage can be between two men or two women. It does seem pretty clear when you put it like that 😊
 
Being attracted to someone of the same sex is a disordered attraction.
 
By promoting same sex marriage you are only worsening and hurting the people dealing with same sex attraction. I feel badn for them if they take your advice.

It’s the same with abortion. The people claiming to help woman by promoting abortion are the ones hurting them the most.

Nope. I’ve seen such marriages literally save a life and bring joy to do many others. I’ve even seen them bring people to God.

It’s not a valid marriage in the eyes of God. A valid marriage must be between one man and one woman.
 
Truth isn’t relative to ones personal opinion or a religious belief that teaches error. Either the Catholic Church and her teachings is is truth or it is not.

You seem less interested in CAF for answering questions and more in proselytizing an agenda and teachings completely at odds with the Church…

No, I just pointed out that his churches definition is one of many. 😊 I think I’ve already explained a couple of times that I’m here for the discussions.
 
The church teaching would suggest that gay marriage is sinful. The reason is because there is no so thing as a gay marriage and homosexuality is a sin. Its not a mental illness to be gay and actively in a gay relationship, its a sin.
