what is the most commonly used title for the church following the second vatican council?
Nothing in this regard has changed since Vatican II. The Catholic Church is still most commonly called “The Church,” though sometimes the “Catholic Church” (or even the “Roman Catholic Church,” though technically this is not proper) to distinguish Herself from other Christian groups. When referred to in the second-person pronoun, the Church is always female, uppercased (She, Her - never “it”).what is the most commonly used title for the church following the second vatican council?
I also suspected the same (and I also factored-in the fact that this was the OP’s first post in this forum). But I am perfectly willing to provide the orthodox answer to any question (‘trick’ or otherwise). If it is NOT a trick, then I have provided a service. If it IS a trick, let the OP spring the trap - the Church is ready. As the OP does not specify his religion I suspect his question is a trick question!
