If I am not stepping over any boundaries, were you a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints?
I used to be a Mormon.
So, I was wrong about saying that all the priesthood was taken from the earth.
From the Mormon Church’s own website: The Great Apostasy

Following the death of Jesus Christ, wicked people persecuted and killed many Church members. Other Church members drifted from the principles taught by Jesus Christ and His Apostles. The Apostles were killed, and priesthood authority—including the keys to direct and receive revelation for the Church—was taken from the earth.

So what are you saying? Not all of the priesthood was taken from the earth? Only some of it? Is that like being sort of pregnant?

Either the priesthood was taken from the earth or it wasn’t. Which is it?

If you are correct and the priesthood was not taken from the earth, then there would be no need of a restoration of the priesthood, because you can’t restore something that is already there.

So again, I ask, which is it? Was the priesthood taken from the earth or was it not?

Let me tell you this though, we do not believe that God hates your church.
You don’t believe that God hates our church. Does God believe that:
  1. The Catholic Church is an abomination in His sight?
  2. Our ministers are corrupt?
  3. The hearts of our ministers are far from Him?
  4. Our ministers teach the doctrines of man, not God?
  5. We deny His power?
Do you also teach that we belong to the church of the devil?

Neither man nor woman can get to the celestial kingdom without having all the covenants and being married to a spouse.
Jesus was not married, does that mean he is excluded from the Mormon celestial kingdom?

Many Mormon apostles over the years have taught that Jesus was married (and likely had multiple wives) and had children.

i did not know that. I’ll add it to my list of reasons why to reject Mormonism. Thanks.

How does a woman get to your Celestial Kingdom?
What does she do there?

Guys, I am really trying to explain but in order to understand a lot of what we teach, you have to understand the plan of salvation. Once you understand that, other things make more sense.

For instance, I have never once heard that Jesus had multiple wives. Some think he was married to mary Magdalene but that is not proven. If he is not married, he will in the millennium.

I discussed that in comment 19, but as for what we do, we are able to work with our spouses to better ourselves and eventually, we can become like God.

Catholics reject the Mormon doctrine of the plan of salvation. We don’t need to understand it to make sense of scripture.

We have asked fair questions of you. You offered to answer them. We are waiting for your answers.

Those of us who spent decades in Mormonism heard it more than once. It’s not official Mormon doctrine. I never said that it was. I said that LDS apostles over time taught it. And they did.

@I8jacob, do you have other questions about what Catholics believe?

I could not see anywhere that you addressed my question but anyway you seem to be saying that there will be no difference between men and women. Is that true? Their roles in your celestial kingdom will be identical? How many husbands can each woman have there?

He came here with a good heart and the right intent, but I think we’re already overwhelming him with our questions, even though he offered to answer them.

I’ll answer this and he can add his thoughts. In this life, men can be sealed to as many women as they choose. The joke about Muslims having 72 virgins is not a joke in the Mormon circle. They can have 72 virgins if they wish.

For the women, it’s different. As far as I know, women can only be sealed to one or two men, and generally only one. If they are sealed to more than one man, a decision has to be made on the other side of the veil to see which man ends up with her, because ultimately, she can only have one.

Sorry, but it sucks to be a woman I guess . . .

Let me tell you this though, we do not believe that God hates your church. You are right that god is perfectly loving and forgiving.
Except towards His Church. As @Lemuel showed, according to Mormonism, God removed His priesthood from us.
Nor do we believe that Joseph Smith is perfect. Nobody who ever walked this earth is or was perfect except for Jesus Christ.
I didn’t say you believe Joseph Smith was perfect. I said he managed to accomplish something that Christ, who is perfect, apparently couldn’t. What sense does that make?
Not only that, but we do work for the dead in our temples.
That’s a very innocuous way to put it. You baptize them, regardless of whether they would have consented to it in life, a practice with no precedence in the Bible nor Sacred Tradition. If they won’t be Mormon in this life, then all you have to do is wait until they die so they can be baptized by proxy. Why was it that the rich man in Luke 16 didn’t ask for Lazarus to have him baptized if that was all that was keeping him from paradise?

I have more to boast of than ever any man had. I am the only man that has ever been able to keep a whole church together since the days of Adam. A large majority of the whole have stood by me. Neither Paul, John, Peter, nor Jesus ever did it. I boast that no man ever did such a work as I. The followers of Jesus ran away from Him; but the Latter-day Saints never ran away from me yet. ~Joseph Smith Jr.

What are spirit babies abd why would I want to spend eternity having babies when I could enjoy the beatific vision?
If these questions are hard they should prepare you for what outsiders think about Mormons.

Did you mean to send that to me?
