Is saying that God came down from Heaven and redeemed us by willingly giving Himself up as a sacrifice for our sins, essentially the same as saying that God gave us His son so that we may have a second chance?
Also, when we say that He paid for our sins, are those “sins” essentially Adam and Eve’s disobedience in the Garden of Eden? Or are those sins every sin that each and everyone of us would individually commit, past present and future? Or both?
Thank you
