What distressing news! I liked him very much.

God rest his faithful soul!
 
May he RIP. A true loss to the Church Militant. Heaven’s gain, though.

I was very fond of Father Straub and watched him very often over the years on EWTN. He was a wonderful man.

He was a favorite of mine! May the Lord reward him for his faithful and very loving service.
