My Muslim boyfriend is having this as well! I asked him three times yesterday to rinse his mouth with mouth wash

I wanted to fast with him yesterday, but was ill and was worried I wouldn’t be able to drive safely with low sugar levels.
People who can go the day with no food
or water have so much self-discipline.
You were wise to not fast if you believed others and your self could be at risk.
Muslims say Allah wants to make it easy for you.
Yesterday i took ill with a clod nose pouring eyes streaming water, and broke my fasting, maybe first time ever today i am a power house feeling fitter and back on fasting for His glory. He blesses me that through the year i can fast for yesterday.
He is an awesome G-d making all things easy.
I fast normally Ramadan, Advent and Lent I have very poor self discipline.
Truly for me G-d / Allah makes it easy
In other times of the year i look at my pants getting tight and say, i think i should not eat today or i should cut back my eating but fall back very quick.
When you wake b4 first light and have a big drink of water (i dont do breakfast) and ask G-d to strengthen you in your days fasting for His glory. Go and offer prayer and towards the end the birds join you in prayer you feel something different.
Through the day if hunger or thirst comes about, you offer a little prayer and after a week you start to see that, you least needed food and water one would normally consume but have been conditioned to think that is the most important need, when in truth relationship with G-d is better food.
At iftar (breaking fast) those three little sips of water are much appreciated and i begin to see i take so much of His blessing for granted, as a child i never appreciated water after all it was not coke LOL.
Bless ya
