bless you sister - while we don’t share the same doctrines and belief, I share your prayer for peace.

Blessings,

This is one of the most lovely responses I’ve read on this forum.

May we all pray for peace!

Abraham went into the wilderness for the sacrifice of Isaac…it is near Sidron/Nablus.

Bosnian Muslim,

During Ramadan,

Do the Muslims do incantation to Allah to condemn infidelity and those who are infidels?

I saw a Youtube and it looked like the same background as this picture and it was dubbed in English about the maledictions against infidels and the way it was presented, it looked like maledictions against all who do not believe the same way as you.

At the Vatican, the Holy Father comes out to bless all people and mankind.

Peace and happy Ramadan to all Muslims our friends and brothers/sisters in faith. The faith of Abraham.

Kathleen, this is not a thread about it,you can post it on a new thread and we can discuss it,i dont know what you have seen so i cant say anything…ramadan is all about love 🙂

I hope that is the truth…that Ramadan is about love…Likewise, can Christians go to Muslim sites and wish “Merry Christmas”???

Well in the argument that you’ve posed, no, Christians should not go to a Muslim site to wish them a Merry Christmas, as it is not a season to celebrate the birth of their savior.
However, Ramadan is truly a month based on devotion and appreciation of God’s gifts. It is simply a time of being closer to God. Christmas is a miracle in the eyes of Christians, and doesn’t hold the same meaning for Muslims, so it wouldn’t work in your equation. However, if you wanted to wish them a a blessed holiday season, I’m not sure they would object, and might even thank you for you kind wishes and prayers, as I’ve had Muslim friends thank me for prayers and wish me a Merry Christmas. When you are in a charitable mood, Muslims are just as kind and charitable as you. When you kind-heartedly wish them a peaceful and happy month of Ramadan, full of prayer and worship to God, I’m 100% sure, they will wish you a fruitful worshipful life as well.

Ramadan Mubarak to you too bosnian_muslim,

What is the time of dawn and dusk in Bosnia?

Here in SA it’s from 4am to 7pm (depending on the city).

A Church in Italy helping Muslims to pray during Ramadan:
“Gallarate, 10 August (AKI) - Muslims in the northern Italian town of Gallarate have been offered a white tent in the local church car park in which to observe Ramadan.”
(E) (I) (A)

Indeed that would really bridge the gaps… :heaven:

Let us all pray to God together. Muslims pray with us too on our holy days as well.
Peace.
