Petrol price is slowly dropping,it had been $1.52AU per imperial litre here.
 
I’m not sure CAF is a place to debate,but more to ask and discuss?

After watching Jurassic Park ,many flailing claws and gnashing teeth I’m ready to sleep 😴 I look forward to some crazy dreams.
 
Well, sometimes people wind up debating anyway. Guess it can’t be helped…
 
Got caught in a downpour coming home from running errands. It was hard to see the road!
 
In other news, my parish church is under renovation due to a freak storm that happened in March. They have put the stones on the bell tower back in place because they jutting out. We also got new stained glass windows and are having the rose window refitted.
 
Is the movie Dunkirk about a man’s quest to find a safe place to poo at all costs?
 
An unusual question and probably a fine demonstration of observatory skills…
😬 I haven’t watched it and probably never will now…
 
There are just so many better war movies out there in which they take time to develop some of the characters more. Maybe it was a statement about the impersonal nature of war, people get blown up and killed without regard for who they are, or maybe it was lazy story telling. That one guy really did need a safe place to poo.
 
But to be fair the civilians crossing the channel into a warzone to save them in their weekend boats was moving as was the homecoming.
 
I’m glad you operated your motor vehicle safely and made it home to safety.
You may not believe this; but when we were kids, we took my brother John’s
fastback Chevy Chevelle to a family gathering in Huntington Park, NJ.
He blew the engine racing; and had a new engine put in. Somehow,
the windshield wipers were broken when the engine was installed.
Anyway… on the way home; there was a downpour so great that some cars
pulled over the side of the Garden State Parkway. John kept driving
looking though the cascades of rain flowing down the windshield;
keeping between the blurring white lines on either side of the lane.
We made it home on a wing and a prayer. Needless to say;
it was a harrowing stressful experience for our family.
We were ‘crazy,’ not to pull over and wait out the storm.
I think we had school the next day or something, and our mom
didn’t want us to miss;: or somehow John convinced our mom
he could drive OK.

I’m a pretty awful friend to people who use friendships for predatory sales and multi-level marketing. I don’t buy the things. I don’t host the parties.

Now a lot of my friends who usually do buy things and get looped in are doing the same 8 week minimalist/decluttering challenge. I hope the predatory salespeople are hurting for sales as these friends go through their houses and rework their priorities.
 
I can’t stand those things. I have several Facebook friends who are into it and I keep getting invites to buy things or get involved. No thanks.
 
He made fish worms to plow the earth so things would grow and then…
 
Rain dripped gently down from the stars to water the freshly-plowed earth…
 
He thought making a ‘mud man’ would be good and decided to make a ‘mud woman’ as well which turned out to be a muddy mess and then…
