Yesterday my husband and I split shift for mass. He took the older kids while I stayed home with the sick baby and then I got to go later alone.(What a good man right?!)
It’s been a loooong time since I was at mass alone. I was so much less distracted by my children…BUT there was this girl trying to french braid her own long beautiful hair.
I was fascinated. On your own head? What skill! Every now and then she would come across an unexpected tangle and I’d be silently rooting for her to overcome her obstacles.
Makes me wonder if anyone is ever rooting for me to keep the veil on my head amidst all the wild assaults of babies and toddlers.
If you take vitamins that claim to make your hair grow faster, stonger and more lusterous-ly, wouldn’t it also give speed and strength to unwanted lady whiskers?
All that stuff is most likely hyped up vitamins and minerals which most of us could benefit from anyway because of our ‘modern’ diets. Facial hair for women is a different animal-or whisker-and is hormone related and generally is associated with the onset of menopause. I guess you can ask your DR. for a hormonal replacement such as Estrogen but a lot of Dr.s would rather not 'cause hormonal replacement can cause problems too. Like it or not we just have to deal with.
I’ve been a tweezer carrier since high school. I’ve got a long way to go before menopause. If it gets considerably worse at or before menopause, I’ll just go join the circus.
