On what planet can an omniscient doctor test for pregnancy within 72 hours of intercourse and determine that conception has or has not taken place?

Test for conception, no, there is none, at least not directly. But a tests for ovulation ( for the Luteinizing hormone - LH, for example) are accurate. And if there has not been an ovulation, by defintion there can be no conception.

If ovulation has occurred in the last 48 hours, then the doctor should proceed under the assumption that a conception HAS occurred.

So, a woman is not allowed to have an abortion, even in extreme cases such as rape? I understand the church sees abortion as a type of murder, but still, something seems off about forcing a woman to carry a baby to term if the pregnancy was the result of a horrible act such as rape.

Having an abortion does not un-do the rape, and many women who have been raped and then had an abortion, say that the abortion was much worse, because they knew that they were killing an innocent child. Abortion also HURTS, despite what Planned Parenthood tells women. Many of the women felt as if they were being raped all over again. Only this time they had paid for it, and volunteered for it.

Abortion is always wrong. What rape victims, pregnant or not, need is support and help, not abortion.

The world is getting really bad. I am always scared that I might get attacked or raped. If it ever happens to me…I will come back as a ghost and will take care of him for good…he wouldn’t have to worry about going to jail because he would be DEAD!!

If a girl has been raped and she could be given the pill within hours of the rape, rather than waiting seventy-two hours.
