Rapping for our Holy Father

I’m sure it’s fine. Just because rap music in the US predominantly (not ‘solely’ or ‘only’) means profane and hateful lyrics and close to pornographic videos doesn’t mean that there cannot be spiritual, uplifting, well-done rap music.

It’s just that stylistically speaking, it is not a genre I care for personally, and with so much beautiful music already out there in styles which I do like, and with limited time to spend listening, I would rather stick with classical music which I find uplifting.

But I certainly wish her well!
 
At first I detested rap, but I came to realize that it is, or has the potential to be, a powerfully expressive art form. I enjoy some rap, but still don’t care for most of it.

I also disapprove of music producers needlessly inserting a rap interlude into many popular songs. Just as most hit songs have what I call the obligatory electric-guitar solo, usually needless and mediocre, it is the same now for rap.

“Nun-the-less” I like what these sisters are doing.
