I liked most of her books, but the Mayfair Witches was pretty depraved. And then I read [long before I became Catholic] some of her erotica. She would be arrested in Canada. Really evil stuff.
I lost interest already. I am back into my nonfiction.I am finding" The Vampire Lestat" more interesting. Perhaps because of the deeper history. I found it free on line as an iBook. I am only on page 43 of 427. Lets see if I can hang in there.
So Lestatis in the waning aristocracy. he is getting drunk with an educated son of the rising merchant class wh has been to Paris. Their are bemoaning their meaningless existence trapped in this village.
