I know that this will probably raise some eyebrows (and probably a few people’s blood pressure),
but…
How many of you read non-Christian books as part of your spiritual reading?
Does anyone read:
Jewish Texts (the Kabbalah is in style now, but there are others)?
The Koran?
Confucius?
Tao Te Ching?
Hindu texts?
Native Armerican Legends?
Buddhist teachings?
Zen?
I rather enjoy the Tao Te Ching myself.
Or for that matter, find that reading and studying the physical sciences increases your understanding of God? The next book on my reading list is “The Elegant Universe” apparently about String Theory.
Just curious.
