Reading the Catechism

No problem. The title of the book would be easy to confuse it with the official Catechism.

With that out of the way, is the book I’m reading right for me? If I were to get through this book without finding anything that I could not agree with, would I ready to become a Catholic?

It’s been a while since I read it, but I generally like Fr. Hardon and I don’t think there’s anything in it contrary to the Faith. You might find it interesting to read them (i.e., the Fr. Hardon book and the real CCC (Catechism of the Catholic Church)) side by side. Have you checked out your area for a Catholic parish to take RCIA classes?
