Hi everyone. I’ve been having some issues with my brother lately. He likes to watch tv shows that I find, not so good for him. Star Trek on Spike tv is one show I have a huge problem with.
Star Trek has some immodesty in it, and references to sexuality. And Spike tv is a network for men, not little boys. How do I convince my brother that these are no good for him? Everytime I talk to him about it, he screams at me to leave him alone. I tell him I want to help him, not hurt him. :nope:
I want to repair the wrong I’ve done. I was the one who got him into this stuff in the first place, the violent video games, and immodest shows. It’s my fault, I failed to be a good model big brother, and that hurts me a lot.
I want to protect him from the things I went through.
What can I do? Talking to my parents about this produces very little success. When I speak about this I usually speak in a judgemental way. Please can anyone offer some advice?
