I think, the right personality, with the right motives, should liturgically cop our youth. Isn’t that what John Bosco did.

yes but the Lord doesn’t care what the world thinks of us, the crowd of witnesses will be cheering the grouch on earth because perhaps that grouch did in fact help sow the seed that changed hearts. who knows! ok bye for now

I didn’t say they were actually fashionable, I said they might think they are being stylish and fashionable rather than slovenly or offensive.

“We” don’t draw the line, the pastor does. He should discuss it— gently— and/or issue some guidelines.

If he doesn’t, and people are concerned, they need to talk to the pastor and encourage him to do so.

And a lot of girls haven’t been taught and therefore are ignorant. I am pretty sure none of them are showing up trying to be offensive.
 
There was a church out West, from what I understand, that had to bring in a priest who was actually reverent (from an African country) to undo all of the error and poor judgements of the previous pastor of that church. This new priest had to even throw away rainbow coloured garb that would be worn by clerics. Can you believe that something like that even existed?

Yes to this. Why do the servers wear special garb? The priest? Sometimes the choir? This is totally the way to go.

“Strangers”!?! You mean our brothers and sisters in Christ that we share so many communional moments with at every Mass, and have divine encounters with our neighbors?!

Yes, people not personally known to you. People in church can be strangers to you if you are not personally acquainted.

We do not “fraternally correct” people we lack a personal relationship with.
