Hi all,
I’d like to give a book to a close relative of mine for Christmas, so I’m looking for recommendations, perhaps lady perspectives? It would be for a young lady, upper 20s. Some background: she doesn’t go to Church too often nowadays and I believe her prayer life has almost vanished. Though I’m pretty sure she will appreciate me giving her a good book on our faith, considering also I see she has no reading material in her new place of living.
Personally, I love the books from Ignatius Press, and Tan Books also has some fine titles. But I’m looking for something not “too heavy”. In particular, I would like something of a feminine aspect, preferably of our Blessed Mother and her motherhood. If not, maybe something that introduces Christ (from the beautiful Catholic perspective) and explains His mystical entrance into the world and our lives.
Thanks in advanced.
