Dovekin:
God knows what Adam looks like.
Of course He does. That wasn’t the question.
Do you know what omniscient means?

I think more will agree that God knows what is, not that he knew what would be. Past and future tenses are not really appropriate for God.

argumentum ad populum?

God uses/presents the terms/senses of ‘past’ and ‘future’ for our sake.

Eternity does not eradicate: past, present, future; Eternity encompasses it.

In THE Future of this present moment in Time - Jesus is Returning

Huh? How’s that an ‘appeal based on what most people believe’?!?
Your I think more will agree that God knows what is is How…

Exactly right.

Except we are not talking about us, but about God knowing, so there is no “for our sake.”

Or if there is, someone would explain the point of the question.

We’re speaking of God and us… Past, Present, Future… Eternity…

Since God refers to Past, Present and Future, the Eternity counter-argument holds zippo water

the Point of the OP appears to be just another in an endless attempt to poke a hole in Genesis/Gospel?

I thought zippo was a lighter for fire, not water???

As stated repeatedly, the point of the original post was to build on what Pius XII said about the difficulty reconciling the scientific and theological truths about our humanity. Or in John Paul II’s description, reconciling the physical continuity of evolution with the spiritual discontinuity of the creation of the soul. If you want to ignore what they have said, you could at least try not to be so dismissive of their teaching; this is a Catholic forum.

Of course - That’s an example of God referring to a specific moment in our Future - Known to Him alone
God uses/presents the terms/senses of ‘past’ and ‘future’
Eternity does not eradicate: past, present, future; Eternity encompasses it.

Keeping this one alive until I can get back to it. It has been a bit of fire drill in the two weeks since I had to switch to work from home. I am almost settled. 😉
Did God know what Adam would look like?
So, I think this was kind of covered already in an oblique sense, but I have a more direct question:
Is it your view that evolution precludes God having foreknowledge of Adam’s physical form?
I know this is two weeks later, but things got kind of hectic right about that time with life going into social distancing mode and all…
