Jn 14:8-12 – whoever had seen has seen the Father

Jn 20:28 – Jesus accepts Thomas’s “my Lord and my God”

Col 2:9 – in him dwells whole fullness of deity bodily

Acts 20:28 – church of God he acquired with his blood

Eph 1:7 – in him we have redemption by his blood

1Jn 1:7 – blood of his Son Jesus cleanses from all sin

Tit 2:13 – glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ

John 1:1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things came into being through him, and without him not one thing came into being. What has come into being

Revelation 19:13 He is clothed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is called The Word of God.

1 John 4:1Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God; for many false prophets have gone out into the world. 2 By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, 3 and every spirit that does not confess Jesus] is not from God. And this is the spirit of the antichrist, of which you have heard that it is coming; and now it is already in the world. 4 Little children, you are from God, and have conquered them; for the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. 5 They are from the world; therefore what they say is from the world, and the world listens to them. 6 We are from God. Whoever knows God listens to us, and whoever is not from God does not listen to us. From this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.

2 John 7 Many deceivers have gone out into the world, those who do not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh; any such person is the deceiver and the antichrist! 8 Be on your guard, so that you do not lose what we have worked for, but may receive a full reward. 9 Everyone who does not abide in the teaching of Christ, but goes beyond it, does not have God; whoever abides in the teaching has both the Father and the Son. 10 Do not receive into the house or welcome anyone who comes to you and does not bring this teaching; 11 for to welcome is to participate in the evil deeds of such a person.

I think I’ve provided enough evidence to win this argument as no can refute my evidence. Good day to you all
one has a wonderful sense of humor! appreciate you imagination

Colossians 2:2 I want their hearts to be encouraged and united in love, so that they may have all the riches of assured understanding and have the knowledge of God’s mystery, that is, Christ himself, 3 in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. 4 I am saying this so that no one may deceive you with plausible arguments.

1 Peter 3:18 For Christ also suffered to God. He was put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit, 19 in which also he went and made a proclamation to the spirits in prison, 20 who in former times did not obey, when God waited patiently in the days of Noah, during the building of the ark, in which a few, that is, eight persons, were saved through water. 21 And baptism, which this prefigured, now saves you—not as a removal of dirt from the body, but as an appeal to God for a good conscience, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, 22 who has gone into heaven and is at the right hand of God, with angels, authorities, and powers made subject to him.

But The Son is not the Father, They are simoultaneously God?
Sure

*The dogma of the Holy Trinity

[253] The Trinity is One . We do not confess three Gods, but one God in three persons, the “consubstantial Trinity”.83 The divine persons do not share the one divinity among themselves but each of them is God whole and entire: "The Father is that which the Son is, the Son that which the Father is, the Father and the Son that which the Holy Spirit is, i.e. by nature one God."84 In the words of the Fourth Lateran Council (1215), "Each of the persons is that supreme reality, viz., the divine substance, essence or nature."85

[254] The divine persons are really distinct from one another . "God is one but not solitary."86 “Father”, “Son”, “Holy Spirit” are not simply names designating modalities of the divine being, for they are really distinct from one another: "He is not the Father who is the Son, nor is the Son he who is the Father, nor is the Holy Spirit he who is the Father or the Son."87 They are distinct from one another in their relations of origin: "It is the Father who generates, the Son who is begotten, and the Holy Spirit who proceeds."88 The divine Unity is Triune.

[255] The divine persons are relative to one another . Because it does not divide the divine unity, the real distinction of the persons from one another resides solely in the relationships which relate them to one another: "In the relational names of the persons the Father is related to the Son, the Son to the Father, and the Holy Spirit to both. While they are called three persons in view of their relations, we believe in one nature or substance."89 Indeed "everything (in them) is one where there is no opposition of relationship."90 "Because of that unity the Father is wholly in the Son and wholly in the Holy Spirit; the Son is wholly in the Father and wholly in the Holy Spirit; the Holy Spirit is wholly in the Father and wholly in the Son."91

I agree, also did you notice the person who started the thread is not responding even though I asked him to. … As far as Trinity Saves when Irish Mom got it out of him that he wasn’t Catholic, that was enough for me, and again I will ask where is the person who started this thread? I will not argue with TS anymore, Jesus is God…Prayers and God bless

One lady who was Jewish had a problem with Catholics calling a man God. How can a man be God? God, who created the earth and everything in it. Who put the stars into place. That was foolishness in her mind.

Then one day it was switched around in her mind. She found out that God can take on human form, to be with us, to teach us, and to be the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. That all of those lambs that the Jews slaughtered, at the request of God for their sins, pointed forward through the centuries that He would take on human flesh and be the Lamb of God, to open heaven for us.

It is an incredible thing to ponder.

@anna

yes very true, they came here just for argument sack, based on lies (John 8:44 You are from your father the devil, and you choose to do your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks according to his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies.) and not to seek the truth, because truth is Jesus John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

Jesus said that I and the Father are one, and that no one reaches the Father except through him. He also said that alone, he can accomplish nothing, and when he prayed he prayed to the Father, not himself. It would make sense to me that rather than being one thing, God is three distinct entities, including Jesus due to his own words. Jesus is God…but he is not the Father, entirely, but together they form God. Jesus is the son of the Father. It’s complicated and somewhat mysterious but that appears to be the case. Note Jesus never said he is the Father, but that he and the Father are one, so they constitute one entity together. Jesus relies on the Father, but that doesn’t mean Jesus is not part of God, otherwise he would not have said he is one with the Father.

I’m not an expert but this is the way I look at it.

Thanks Anna … God bless you too,I hope your Sunday is going great ?

I strongly believe Jesus is God ,there is no doubt about it but people are entitled to their belief and opinion ,all we need to do is to pray for each othe for God to give us sense of directions also to open our eyes to the truth .
