But then, Jesus didnt cast woe on the thief that asked for mercy.

Jesus said of Peter: Satan has asked to sift you like wheat … but I have prayed for you. … Jesus didnt say anything like that about Judas…

I’d say that calling him a devil is a clue. I certainly wouldnt want that evaluation from the mouth of the most high.
Just an opinion… Its not a deal breaker.🙂
