I’m not personally familiar with Reikie but you might be interested to look into the Copper Wall Project done by the Menninger Clinic in Topeka. They used a number of healers and measured electric fields generated while they were “healing.”

I believe you are referring to Kirlian Photography which was dismissed as bunk along with spoon bending and the Vulcan death touch.

Not surprisingly you don’t know what you are talking about. Kirlian photography has to do with developing film that is exposed directly to an object while a current is run through it. That’s nothing at all to do with the copper wall experiment.

Admittedly that is engaging in hyperbole, I certainly haven’t looked up all of your posts to see if you bring up homosexuality in every thread you post in. I do notice though that every thread I’ve read and that I’ve noticed you posted in you work in homosexuality sooner or later (even when the subject is , say, japanese healing methods).

Just kind of quirky.

Why do you think I said a current is run through the object? You did know that meant an electrical current right? And you do know that any electrical current has an associated electric and magnetic field, right?

Okie doke, so most of us agree then that Reikie is bunk and has no place being taught or practiced in a Catholic Church.
 
Are these forums starting to degenerate? I am beginning to notice alot of stupid arguing going on. Why not take the personal comments to private messaging? -Maranajewell.

there is an excellent website which has links to the vatican offical web site, to do with reiki etc. If the link doesn’t work, then type in “Reiki and the catholic faith” in google search and then click on the first web page which is CUF.org, this makes it quite clear what the problems are of these things. here is the link if it works:

reiki is absolutely contrary to the Catholic faith and cannot be practiced by catholics. period. to do so may endanger the state of one’s soul.
