I wouldn’t be able to help even if the picture was clear. I just wanted to know what I am looking at. If you have no Church documents to support the authenticity of the relic I doubt anyone can help you out.

Everybody here is well aware, I’m sure, that buying and selling first/second class relics is a serious sin. Any spiritual benefit one can derive from venerating relics is canceled out a thousand times over by the sin of simony, so don’t do it.

I think, not at all sure, this is about profit. I have a medal of the Divine Mercy with a bit of Saint Faustina’s… something white she wore … embedded in the back. Saint medals with 2nd class relics, esp religious in more modern times who’s personal effects were reserved, are fairly common these days. But I paid about $2 for it. So I don’t think it was a profit-making enterprise, unless her Order sells them, and that’s subsistence marketing, I think.
