today a mail came for me containing 10 holy cards, 10 novena cards, 10 biography phamplets and 10 holy relics in a clear white plastic pouch of Blessed Emilie Gamelin, foundress of Sisters of Providence

PRAYER
O merciful Heart of Jesus who,
in your infinite tenderness for suffering for humanity,
have filled Blessed Emilie Gamelin with a tender compassion for human miseries,
and have raised her for the accomplishment of the designs
of Your Providence
on the community of which she became foundress,
deign to grant us the grace we solicit through her prayers
that she may be glorified on the earth and that,
in imitating her virtues,
we may glorify you in heaven.

Our Mother of Sorrows, whom the Blessed Emilie Gamelin
so faithfully honored and served here on earth,
glorify your servant.
Amen.

You can also request the same that i had received
please communicate favors to:
ydemers@providenceintl.org

GOD BLESS!

My dear friend in Christ,
All the three that you have requested did not reply to me through email. They have sent me the relics along with the reply.

Greetings. Yesterday, was blessed to receive the second class relic of Blessed Francis Seelos. Also received a wonderful letter from the Solanus Guild, containing a bookmark, wallet calendar and pamphlets. They were very quick to mail these items to me, just a few days. Paid $10.00 for an annual membership in the Guild.
Question: The relic badge states that is was touched to the tomb of Venerable Solanus Casey. Would not that make it a fourth class relic instead of third class, since it did not actually touch his body? God bless.

Just wanted to say a special thanks to FraLeones for all of the great information he has been sharing in this thread. Regarding an email for Miguel Pro relic, I found this one:
lawrence@miguelproshrine.com . However, he asked that my request be sent via snail mail, same address as in post #86. Thanks and God Bless.

On the lighter side. Maybe I could touch the tomb of a saint and then I would become a third class relic. As my hair and fingernails grew, I could clip them and send them out as relics.

Just a thought.

it is a third class relic my friend! it is hard to open the sealed tomb just to touch the cloth to his body. my friend, it is ok if you rather touch the cloth to the tomb.

Dear CAF Members, I am very sorry that I haven’t been frequenting this particular thread…

However, this past month (February) I have been truly blessed to receive information, a book, booklet, prayer cards, relic cards. I’ll try my best to share Prayers, photos, and contact information whenever it is possible.
  • Some of the Prayer and Relic cards I have scanned and some I have photographed (I’m a very amateur photographer so please don’t criticize) :o
FraLeones, God bless you and God be with you for all of the contact information that you have provided. I greatly appreciate it and I’m sure other CAF members do too.

It is my understanding you are now a custodian that houses relics for the School’s Chapel? Our Lord has truly blessed you FraLeones

prbarrea I am truly glad you received the booklet along with the Prayer relic cards of Blessed Alberto Marvelli. If you look closely or click on the photos on Page.5, Post #69 you’ll notice that the Prayer relic cards are in the Italian language as well. However, I noticed on the back of a mini-biography card there is a Prayer in English so I used the Google Translate for the Italian Prayer and English and it was the exact same as the English one on the back of the mini-biography card. Also, if you go to Page.5, Post # 69 feel free to copy, paste, and print off the English Prayer.

avemarie123, I could be totally incorrect and have some misunderstanding but I think what you are paying for is the theca ← not too sure if that is the correct word or the “container” which holds the relic.

However, I personally would be leery of any website that claims on selling relics. But, like you stated they do offer a free relic card so I’ll have to check out the following website again.

Here is a wonderful website that gives an explanation on relics:

ichrusa.com/saintsalive/relics_for_sale.html

By the way, thank you and God bless you for providing the contact information concerning Cardinal Kung.

snugglebugmom, Thank you and God bless you for providing the link to The Catechism of the Catholic Church concerning simony

christtofirst, What a beautiful and touching story concerning Ann Ball and Blessed Miguel Pro and like you christtofirst, some of the relic cards that I have receive no official seal, documents, signature, etc. but I truly believe that the relics are authentic and I don’t’/haven’t doubted them either.

Like I stated before and on previous posts I am always pleased and truly blessed whenever I receive valuable information such as booklets, book(s), Prayer cards, and relics. Sometimes, I feel I don’t deserve or I am unworthy of such blessings but all in all this is Our Lord, Our Blessed Mother, and God’s Heavenly friends.

Have requested free relics from outside of the US and would like to send each source a donation. However, a US check or money would not be valid. Nor would US stamps. Bank transfers are very costly. Have been considering sending International Reply Coupons which are valid for the purchase of postage in other countries. Has anyone else considered how best to donate in this situation? Any suggestions? God bless.

I pray to you Luigi and Maria, to intercede for me in the prayerful request I am making if it be beneficial to my soul, for the ultimate good of my family and aligned to the will of our heavenly Father.
