In the past month (August) I was filled with joy and blessed to receive a letter, booklets which discusses briefly the times and life of Servant of God Fr. Emil Kapaun, prayer cards of Servant of God Fr. Emil Kapaun, and two holy prayer cards with a relic of Fr. Emil Kapaun (the one that is pictured) I plan on giving it to my parish Priest and since Fr. John Hotze sent additional booklets and Prayer cards I’m going to give them to the Parishoners at Church.

Father Emil Kapaun ~ Servant of God ~ Priest, Soldier, and friend ~ Pray for us.

**Father Emil Kapaun gave
glory to God by following his call to the priesthood and
thus serving the people of Kansas
and those in the military.
Father Kapaun, I ask your
intercession not only for these needs which I mention now … but that I
too may favor your example of
service to God and my neighbor.
For all the gifts of courage in battle
and perseverance of faith,
we give you thanks O Lord.

Recite one Our Father, Haily Mary, and one Glory Be.**

If you would like a holy relic card of Servant of God Fr. Emil Kapaun please contact Fr. John Holtze at:

When I request relics I don’t just say “Hey you, Fr. John give me a relic.” instead I ask them kindly if they can give me a relic I would greatly appreciate it and if not than I’m okay and I understand. Also, I ask them to Pray with and for me (everyone) as well.

God bless,
goforgoal
I was excited and blessed to receive today a laminated prayer card with relic. Photo on front of the one I received was different than the one you received. There is no seal on the back of the card, so not sure if it is 2nd or 3rd class? Also received some prayer cards. There are four different photographs on the fronts of these with the same prayer on the back. The relic card is the same as one type of prayer card with the relic cloth and lamination added. Am very thankful for these items. God bless.

Dear fellow CAF members,

Well yesterday, I received a lot of mail from the post office.

With regards to the causes for Servant of God, Simona Tronci, I got her A4 laminated picture, the book Deeply In Love With Jesus, authored by Rev. Fr. Clemente Pilloni, OFM Cap. (he died before the start of Diocesan Inquiry of Servant of God Simona in 2002), and prayer cards.

I also received a letter from Saint Joseph’s Oratory, which is about Saint Brother André, with prayer cards, brochures, and relics touched to his body.

From Germany, a letter which is about St. Walburga: 1 prayer card, 1 booklet of her biography with prayers, and a letter which stated that it is not possible to send a bottle of holy oil, due to the number of pilgrims trying to acquire the little holy oil available there.

I also received the prayer cards, post cards, the decree regarding the beatification of Blessed Isidore Bakanja (I believe it’s Latin… otherwise it’s in Italian language). They also have a letter too sent to me.

Again, the Adorers of the Precious Blood in Canada sent brochures, relics, and prayer cards (which I am amazed in Filipino language, where I live). Thank you very much. I have prepared them for their proper destinations in my apostolate.

The San Lorenzo Ruiz Global Ministry also sends me prayer guides of San Lorenzo Ruiz, which I intend to send this time to hospitals. Thanks to my contact there!

Finally, the inspirational pamphlets from Christian Family Outreach. The biggest of them all. The 2nd box that I was waiting for (the first one I got a few days ago). I was able to distribute them to 2 parishes that afternoon and prepared the rest for distribution in my vicinity. 🙂

i also had some more to share which i would be sharing in the near future.

also i have already fixed my camera, our friend goforgoal once asked me to share the pictures of relics i have in the near future. it will be soon. thank you for all your help

i have received quite a number of relics of Servant of God Catherine Aurelia,

im not sure which class of it but it says,

“cloth having served the Servant of God…”

and another which said

“tissue having served…”

for me it is a second class relic… what do you think ??

avemaria123 All glory and praises should be given to God, Our Almighty Father, his Angels, and his Saints.

I’m not really sure what type of class this either as I haven’t asked but I do trust them and I’m very grateful they sent me two relic cards of Servant of God Fr. Emil Kapaun along with the wonderful information about him.

Please don’t forget to thank those who are actually distributing information, Prayer cards, and Holy Relics of Saints and “Saints in the making”

Thank you for sharing this beautiful and joyous news with us.

prbarrera Thank you and God bless you for sharing this enriching information with all of us.

Perhaps, the Sisters Adorers of the Precious Blood realized it was going to The Philippines and provided a Prayer card to Mother Catherine Aurélie Caouette in the Filipino language. That is truly wonderful that they did this.

FraLeones I’m not really sure what “class” this is either but you could always ask them. And like I told avemaria123 I do trust in them and I appreciate the fact that they do distribute relic cards.

I would like to thank you in advance for sharing your pictures with all of us.

Please keep Praying for their Beatification, Canonization, and Ask for their intercession as well.

If you can please offer the people who are distributing information, Prayer cards, and Holy relics a Donation. <— Not only for them to distribute relic cards but to help them out too such as the Missionaries of Charity.

The “Cloth having served the Servant of God” …I am guessing that was from the Adorers of the Precious Blood from Canada.

The “Tissue having served…” came from the Precious Blood Monastery in NH (New Hampshire).

The Sisters of the Precious Blood Monastery in NH explained thru email at tissue is a French word to them. I posted it here before. It’s post #64 in this topic.

It’s 3rd class relic, based on the mail the from the Sisters in NH. They noted it in the envelope.

In the case of Saint Ignatius, contact the jesuits.

in the case of st jude thaddeus, it is very hard to find and it is only for churches.

pray to them so they could help you.

to prbarrera,

are you from Madapdap, Mabalacat? thaks and God Bless you! 🙂

@kavin_catholic

Hmm? I believe you’re the one the postman is mentioning that there’s a certain person also from the one you’re mentioning is receiving mail such as these relics. 🙂

Anyway, as for St. Jude Thaddeus, since he’s a pre-congregation saint, his relics are somewhat tough to find. Some said that his remains were from where he was martyred, which is Armenia. Others said that his remains were transferred to Rome.

Peace!

this is a very wonderful thread and will help me a lot in my devotions.

May I just ask if who to contact and where can I be blessed to receive a 1st class relic without acquiring any letter of recommendation from our bishop?
I would just like to receive just one 1st class relic for my devotion.
Please PM me for the help.

I am the Youth Leader of Sta. Monica Parish Youth Ministry, Agoo, Diocese of San Fernando de La Union here in the Philippines.

i know where. i know how. i know to whom but i do not know your intentions so i cant really give details. first class relics are for churches only. also first class relics are not for private devotion.

Frater Leo

SO many Pilipinos here 🙂
kaya sabi ng mga postulator sa akin gahaman ang pinoy sa relics. (translation: some postulators told me that Filipinos are somehow greedy in relics.) 😦

In my case the postman here said that he is so tired of going in our house because i receive mails almost everyday. at one time he came here really impatient saying “MAIL AGAIN”

Frater Leo,
I just want to have a devotion to a Saint, specially to a patron Saint of Youths (St. John Bosco, St. Dominic Savio, or St. Aloysius Gonzaga, etc.)

I am the newly elected Youth Leader here in our parish Frater… but serving the Youth Ministry for 8 years. I think it is time that I make a devotion to a Saint that He/She may lead me to a holier life than what I have right now.

I know what you are pointing Frater, but I have no greedy intentions to sell or to selfishly keep the relic that will be given to my custody. Certainly I will really share to my fellow youth ministers for the Saint to be venerated too.

I have also this calling to be a priest of our Lord, Frater, and planning to enter the seminary next year after I have already made sure that the ministry will continue to stand with the new leaders. I know that the Saint (whose relic I will be blessed to receive) will help me a lot in discerning which Religious Congregation I should enter (my current choices to send application letters are Society of Jesus, Servites, SHMI, and Salesians of Don Bosco).

I hope you could help me Frater Leo.
I hope you could see my pure intentions in asking for a first class relic.

Here is my email address Frater:

Please email me.

I could help you in this following saints but this requires recommendation letter from priests:

Saint John Bosco
Saint Dominic Savio
Saint Gemma Galgani
Saint Maria Goretti
Saint Gabrielle Possenti
Blessed Edward Poppe
Blessed Elizabeth of the Trinity
Blessed Michael Rua

i think we need more time to talk because it needs cathecism.

in the case of salesian saints, specially the Saints John Bosco and Dominic Savio, they would give second class relics because some of their saints had their relics exhausted.

And a relic request would cost you about 30 euros.

im sorry i could never post such things here on how to get 1st class relics

be careful of people who fake relics. even here in the Philippines some people fake relics

@prbarrera

you’re right and you’re also the person that the postmaster told us… Do you serve in our parish?

as a bosconian, I also want to have a relic of Father Bosco and St. Dominic Savio… Even a 2nd or 3rd class… Please help me… May God bless us all! +m
