Dearest CAF members, All of the Glory, Honor, Praises, and Thanksgiving should be given to God, Our Almighty Father and in His Angels and His Saints.

Like, jcian12 stated on page.2, post # 22 the Holy and Blessed Eucharist is very important too, so when and if you can please visit Our Lord in the most Holy Eucharist.

I may have to do this particular post in two parts (to share the pictures that is)

Anyways, on February. 10th, 2012 Friday I sent a request email to: The Office of the Postulator General of the Carmelite Order and I was truly and wonderfully blessed the following:

A Holy card of St. Teresa of Avila (no Prayer)
A Holy card of St. Magadena de Pazzi (no Prayer)
A Holy Prayer card (in Latin or Italian not too sure) of St. John of the Cross
A Holy Prayer card (in Latin or Italian not too sure) of Liberata Ferrarons
A Holy Prayer card of St. Teresa Benedicta of the Cross (St. Edith Stein)
A Holy Prayer card of St. Teresa of the Andes of Jesus
A Holy Prayer card Blessed Hilary Pawel Janszewski
A Holy Prayer card of Blessed Titus Brandsma
A Holy Prayer card of Blessed Isidore Bakanja
A relic of Sr. Maria del Patrocini de St. Jose
A relic Prayer card (in Latin or Italian not too sure) of Mother Maria Crocifissa Curcio
A relic Prayer card (in Latin or Italian not too sure) of Angelo Paoli
A relic Prayer card of Blessed Titua Brandsma
A relic Prayer card of Blessed Isidore Bakanja

Some of the Saints or I should say Saints in the making I don’t recognize so it is really nice getting to know them – almost like getting to know a new found friend in Heaven.

Receiving these items have truly been a blessing to me and may I add an answer to my Prayers being that I have a Heart for the Carmelites.

God bless the Carmelite Saints.

As for the previous post, I requested literature of Blessed Mother Maria Helena Stollenwerk based on the email address provided.

As for kavin_catholic and FraLeones regarding Don Bosco… I remembered the relic (if I remember, the right hand) came to Don Bosco Mabalacat, January 2011. The SDB priests who attended the Mass, advised to fall in line.

The image of Don Bosco, was in lying position (since in India, they changed the image to due cultural and religious differences, and made him standing instead there)

There was a set time for the public viewing, I think 7 or 8 pm, and that any religious article can be touched to his body.

Hence based on the previous paragraph, you can have 3rd class relic!

I was there that time but viewing him from afar is sufficient for me. The line is long and it’s nighttime.

Fortunately, I was able to get the last 3 prayer cards offered in their shop table and a bag. The bag is still here, but needs some mending. I also regularly pray his card too. 🙂

Well, some parts of opportunities missed this year are as follows:

The pilgrim image of Fatima. I believe that was around February. It was meant to be visiting the Metropolitan Cathedral of San Fernando, Pampanga. To the last minute, the image also visited the Auxilliary Bishop’s church in Holy Rosary Parish in Angeles City for a few hours, before returning back to the City of San Fernando at the University of the Assumption, which is managed by the Archdiocese.

I knew that Our Lady will visit down south of the province, but did not expect to visit northward (I lived in the north of the Archdiocese). I just learned this a few days later to one of my contacts at Holy Rosary Parish.

The 2nd opportunity missed is the relic of St. Clare, which visited the Cathedral last March 22. Although I knew it before, the schedules here are tight…

I am blessed to venerate both the pilgrim image of Our Lady of Fatima who visited our church Basiica Minore of Our Lady of Charity of Agoo,La Union last year
and the Ex Ossibus holy pilgrim relic of Saint Clare of Assisi at Poor Clares Monastery of Saint James, Malasiqui, Pangasinan last March 24 and was blessed to have her 3rd class relic in a prayer card.

prbarrera and JeClark Thank you and God bless you for sharing this.

Anyways, I am going to add more pictures of all of the blessed items I received from** The Office of the Postulator General of the Carmelite Order Please forgive me, I’ll have to do this post in 3 or 4 parts rather than just 2.** and I’m very sorry I forgot to include when I actually received these blessed items it was on March. 20th, 2012, Tuesday.

I really appreciate all of the holy items that I have received.

God bless,

This is the final part of the blessed holy items I received from **Office of the Postulator General of the Carmelite Order ** which like FraLeones suggested you may contact here:

Hello everybody. I just want to ask something. Is it possible that a postulator will send a personal letter to your home that says that they refuse to give you a relic?

Is it ok to send letters to different postulators with the same content?

This is my one and only relic. 2nd class relic of Bl. Maria Teresa of St. Joseph.[/EMAIL]

Hi goforgoal, this question is for you…

Pax et Bonum!

I sent a letter to a postulator via email, but they haven’t replied yet via email. Does this mean that they will never send me a relic? How would I possibly know if they would send one?

It’s just my first time to write via email…

Thanks, I have high hopes that you can help me… God Bless!

Peace!

this is a very wonderful thread and will help me a lot in my devotions.

May I just ask if who to contact and where can I be blessed to receive a 1st class relic without acquiring any letter of recommendation from our bishop?
I would just like to receive just one 1st class relic for my devotion.
Please PM me for the help.

I am the Youth Leader of Sta. Monica Parish Youth Ministry, Agoo, Diocese of San Fernando de La Union here in the Philippines.
For all of those who want to receive a first class relic, you must write directly through airmail to the postulator themselves. And explain to them briefly why you need the relic and assure them that you will help in promoting the saint/blessed here in the Philippines.

Hope I was able to help =) that was how my friend received at least 10 first class relics from different Carmelite saints or blessed.

I am also from the Philippines. in Quezon City =)

They really do not reply in emails but do send it. 🙂

EDPChico, First and foremost, please be patient and wait upon making your request for relic cards sometimes they take months to send…While you are patiently waiting don’t forget to Pray, Pray for their Beatification and Canonization, and Ask for their intercession.

Please do not be offended if they happen to tell you “no”

EDPChico, please do take the time to browse around this particular thread, you will see at times that I (and other CAF members) have received a confirmation email and other times I (and other CAF members) were simply blessed to receive valuable information on the Saint or “Saint in the making” as well as a relic card.

You may find various email addresses and direct webpages where you may make your request.

Here is a website on Fr. Giovanni Gross, O. Carm:

On another note, I am joyful and truly blessed to receive a holy prayer card, Novena, and a brief biography with two relics attached of Blessed Emilie Tavernier Gamelin I actually received an extra holy prayer card and Novena as well which I plan on giving/sharing with a lady at our Church.

I believe that the contact information was provided by another CAF member but here it is again:
