I personally feel that sharing contact information for the faithful to obtain relics for their devotion is not wrong to do. I have a hard time believing any relic sellers are searching catholic forum and emailing every single contact just to make a few bucks. Let’s be honest, if someone is determined to obtain and sell relics, they will with or without our postings, most of which are for second class relics anyways. You can see it on ebay everyday. and those are FIRST class relics. These go for thousands of dollars and certainly find their way into the wrong hands somehow. Let’s place blame where blame is due and not punish those faithful Catholics who are seeking relics to assist and inspire their spiritual life, in good faith and with pure hearts. I personally can say that this thread has helped me to promote the causes for the blesseds listed, distribute relics to family and friends, and learn more about our wonderful candidates for the most holy honor of Canonization.

Does anyone know if it is possible to obtain authentic relics from the Holy Land such as a stone from the Holy Sepulchre and a stone from Calvary? I am not talking about those common “mementos” that you find in religious shops from the Holy Land such as leaves from Bethlehem or oil from the Church of the Nativity. I am speaking of actual relics from the Holy Sites.

Dearest CAF Members, on May.1st, 2012, Tuesday - I was absolutely and truly blessed to receive the following holy and blessed articles:

A personal letter, 2 pamphlets about their Carmelite Order, a book titled “Mother Therese and the Carmel of Allentown” a folded biography with prayers of Mother Therese of Jesus, O.Carm, prayer cards/saying of Mother Therese of Jesus, O.Carm, prayer card with another small card that has touched her tomb, and a laminated embroided badge having touched the tomb of Mother Therese of Jesus, O.Carm.

A folded biography of The Venerable Servant of God, Mother Mary Therese, OSF (Josephine Dudzik), 7 folded Beatification and Novenas of The Venerable Servant of God, Mother Mary Therese, OSF (Josephine Dudzik), and 7 laminated embroided photo badges with soil embedded.

I was also very blessed and grateful to receive another relic prayer card along with 24 prayer cards, and a book (in English) on Servant of God, Mother María Félix Torres.

Finally, on that same day, I was truly and wonderfully blessed to receive a note from the Carmel of Dijon along with 6 prayer relic cards and 3 cloth relic badges of Blessed Elizabeth of the Trinity.

You will have to forgive me and bear with me as I have to put the following in seperate threads as CAF will only allow so many pictures per thread.

If you need or if you would like any of the contact information please send me a Private Message and I will kindly give it to you but kindly keep in mind that I may not get to your PM’s right away. Also, keep this in mind and heart when you do contact the Postulators or those who are promoting the following candidates cause.

It was also pointed out to me by some of those who are promoting their causes for Sainthood that since some haven’t been officially Canonized as Saints yet they are not actually relics yet so please Pray for their Beatification, Canonization, and ask for their intercession.

God has truly blessed us with His Angels and His Saints.

Continued post from #239 and #240

Although, only two relic prayer cards and cloth relics of Blessed Elizabeth of the Trinity are pictured I did receive 6 relic prayer cards and 3 cloth relics from the Carmel of Dijon I gave them away and would like to send them to two different Carmelites in Canada.

I’m very grateful that the Sisters sent me the book in English of Servant of God, Mother
María Félix Torres – they actually sent me a book before in Spanish or French which I gave away…Anyways, I did tell them that it was okay (as I know how much postage can cost) and they didn’t have to send me another book but I am absolutely thankful the Sisters did.

Please continue to Pray for their Beatifications and Canonizations.

God bless you,

Hello friends!
Anyone in the Los Angeles area, this week through May 24 at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels, the relics of the Mexican Martyrs is on public display.
The silver reliquary contains the relics of six Knights of Columbus priest martyrs of Mexico, whom Pope John Paul II canonized in 2000. They were victims of the Cristero Wars of the late 1920’s.
Many blessings, Christofirst

God bless you for sharing this with us and may they intercede for you and for all. :amen:

CathMass, Very good question(s) indeed and it makes me wonder too. 🤷

I vividly remember seeing an Ad online with a woman touching the place where Christ was born with a white cloth or a scarf in the Church of the Nativity.

I don’t know if this would help but you could contact Nazareth Village or The Franciscan Missionaries custodian of the Holy Sephulcre.

I have pressed flower from Bethlehem which was gifted to me by a Religious Brother.

I was also blessed to receive some gifts on May.8th, 2012, Tuesday a newsletter – update from the Sisters of the Holy Family on Venerable, Henriette Delille looking back on my original post about Venerable, Henriette Delille I realized I made a mistake in the contact email address and I’m not sure if I corrected it or not. However, if you would like the mailing address of Venerable, Henriette Delille or anyone in my previous threads please feel free to PM me and I will try to send the contact information as soon as I can.

That same day, I was truly blessed to receive a personal letter (prior to that I received an email), a newsletter, a mini biography leaflet, and two blessed Prayer cards of Servant of God, Dorothy Day from the Dorothy Day Guild.

If you would like the contact information for Servant of God, Dorothy Day please go to your favorite search engine such as Google or Yahoo and type in Dorothy Day Guild or please PM me and I will try to send you the contact information as soon as I can.

I also wanted to ask has anyone else been receiving newsletters from the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fátima? and newletters from the Servant of God, Archbishop Fulton J Sheen? I am very grateful to receive both I read them than give them away to whomever might need them.

God has truly blessed us with His Angels and His Saints,

Dearest CAF members, on May. 11th, 2012, Friday I was joyful and blessed to receive a pamphlet of The Venerable José María García Lahiguera and 3 holy relic Prayer cards of The Venerable José María García Lahiguera.

Little known facts about The Venerable José María García Lahiguera (please correct me if I am wrong)
  • he was the Archbishop of Valencia, Spain from 1969 - 1989.
  • The Venerable José María García Lahiguera with the help of Mother Maria Hidalgo of Caviedes and Gómez founded The Congregation of Oblate Sisters of Christ Priest.
I am also truly joyful and blessed to receive 2 holy relic Prayer cards of Mother Maria Carmen Hidalgo of Caviedes and Gómez.

Even though the blessed materials I received are all in Spanish and I do not fully understand the language I am very grateful and don’t you love expression of true joy on both Venerable José María García Lahiguera and Mother Maria Carmen Hidalgo of Caviedes and Gómez faces?

God bless,

Peace be with you all!
May I humbly request this group to refrain from sharing addresses and contact informations about the postulations of the different causes. This is out of courtesy and respect to the owners of the contact information and at the same time so as not to provide informations to merchants selling relics on ebay. This forum can be easily surfed in the net and people with bad intention can easily request for relics which they can sell online.
For example, my email address here was posted and now i am bombarded with emails around the world with some using 2 names! I do not know the intention but why give one name now then a different one next time?!
If you want to have devotion to saints and blesseds, find the addresses yourself or ask someone personally. Do not broadcast it here please.
I expect and pray a fast resolution on this matter. God bless!
With the email address concerning yours, it was reported to the moderators of this forum. I believe it was a lapse of judgment (from me), which I apologize (I should’ve PMed FraLeones about it instead), and if you search again to this topic (which I did), is now gone.

Dear capcerda and all CAF members,
I do agree with capcerda about posting contact addresses of congregations where people can request for relics without their permission. Aside from merchants on ebay can easily find out what the contact addresses are, it is also very unethical . People with bad intention will easily find out what the congregations’ addresses are and may commit many relic abuses, and sell them. Instead of spreading the devotion of saints and inspiring others, CAF becomes an avenue for people with bad intention to do their unjust acts.
It is also with the lack of moderation of CAF, instead of giving Catholic “answers” to users, people may get misled because the site admins do not even check every thread or post that may sometimes be against Catholic teachings. No site admin even tries to check if anybody in this sites violate Catholic teachings or laws, and often let it be and do not even do proper action. It may also be because of CAF’s huge number that’s why moderation is hard.
I hope all of you understand…
God Bless!
With the word “lack of moderation of CAF,” with the email of capcerda deleted in this topic, there was no other action made to close this topic. I guess when I said delete posts (I forgot the number, since I posted the email and FraLeones quoted the email again), a mod (as we call before in a moderator), just deleted it. No other check was made further.

I guess it’s fortunate that this topic is still running and not closed by a mod (unless someone reports it so to check it again).

Anyway, I guess it’s also a concern on other subforums, like Prayer Intentions.

capcerda & EDPChico Thank you for pointing this out as this has been a huge concern for me as well. It may not seem like it as you can see I have provided a lot of contact information.
However, I believe that Prayers, Devotions, and what not should be shared and I only wanted to share these holy materials with other people and I also didn’t want to “appear” like a braggart. “Oh look at me I have relic a relic card of Blessed Mother Teresa Calcutta” Hopefully, that makes sense on my part.
Please dont get me wrong capcerda & EDPChico I fully respect the Postulators, Congregations, Orders, and so forth and I take what you said to mind and heart.
It is such a blessing to receive holy materials whether it be a relic or a Prayer for the following candidates Beatification and Canonization. That is why I am lost for words as to why anyone would want to sell relics online.
So from now, I shall refrain contact information on the open public forums and I will ask each and everyone of you to either do an online search yourself for the contact information or if you like please PM me ← I may not be able to answer right away but I will eventually.
On the other hand, dearest CAF members on April. 27th, 2012, Friday The Carmelite Sisters of the Aged and Infirm sent me a letter, two pamphlets on Servant of God, Mother. M. Angeline Teresa, O. Carm Society, a leaflet with brief biography with Prayer on the reverse side of Servant of God, Mother M. Angeline Teresa O.Carm, a Prayer card of Servant of God, Mother M. Angeline Teresa, O.Carm, and a badge that has been touched to Servant of God, Mother M. Angeline Teresa’s habit/clothing. ← It was clearly pointed out in the letter that since Mother. M. Angeline Teresa, O.Carm isn’t a Saint yet there are no relics of her.
God bless The Carmelite of the Aged and Infirm.
Please join me in Praying for the Beatification of Servant of God, Mother M. Angeline Teresa, O. Carm.
goforgoal, as I stated earlier, it was my lapse of judgment, which was resolved. After a few days when capcerda posted his concern, I reported my request to delete the threads via the moderators. I avoided this topic for a while, as I wait for the moderators to remove my thread and that of FraLeones (since the email was quoted). Fortunately, this topic was not closed.

Don’t blame yourself for posting the contact information.

Well, with the pictures you are showing, we could have an idea on where to look for the candidate for sainthood. With a little search, we’re good to go for a humble request to them. When there’s no trace of clue from the picture (if there’s no email address or website), we’d PM you… unless the request is done via snail mail.

Dearest CAF members, It brings me joy to tell you that on May.16th, 2012, Wednesday I received from the Franciscan Sisters of the Poor who are promoting the cause for Sainthood for Blessed Frances Schervier

3 Novenas (1 which is in French), 2 Litanies, 1 autobiography on the reverse side quotes and Prayers, 1 picture Prayer card, and 1 relic.
  • I may have to attach the pictures in two - three parts.
God bless you,

Final post of from post #249 and #250.

Blessed Frances Schervier who served the poor, please Pray for us. Amen.

I received the devotional materials of Blessed Frances Schervier this Wednesday only. The book about her life is also touching as well. 🙂

prbarrera May I ask you what is the title of the book about Blessed Frances Schervier, please and thank you?

May.28th, 2012, Monday- The Emmerick Association sent me 2 mini-biography pamphlets, 5 - Third class Relic picture post cards, and 1 - Second Class Relic picture post card which is a cloth bandage that Blessed Anna Katharina Emmerick wore around her head.

It is truly such a blessing finding and discovering God’s Heavenly friends and in case you’re wondeing I never really knew much about Blessed Anna Katharina Emmerick and I didn’t even know she was an Augustian Nun. :o

I’m very grateful to The Emmerick Association, to CAF (I believe that is where I heard of Blessed Anna Katharina Emmerick first), and I am forever grateful to God.

Before, I send the other 5 relics out I have been considering carefully removing the 2nd class relic that I do have, cutting it, and attaching it to the other Third Class Relic Cards as I want to share the 2nd class relic as well. Do you think that’s a good idea?

I’ll Pray about it…

Please join me in Prayers for the Canonization of Blessed Anna Katharina Emmerick. Amen.

If you need the contact information please feel free to PM me.

God be with you,
