Dearest CAF members, on May. 4th, 2012, Friday I was truly blessed to receive a small box from the Discalced Carmelite Nuns in Palma de Mallorca, Islas Baleares (Spain)which contained 8 books, over 100 Prayer pamphlets, and over 100 laminated pictured with a piece of straw from the straw matress that served Servant of God, Mother Maria Conception of St. James and St. Teresa, d.c. for 70 years as a Discalced Carmelite Nun. The Discalced Carmelite Nuns in Palma de Mallorca, Islas Baleares (Spain) are truly generous and I am forever grateful.

Please join me in Prayers for the Beatification and Intercession of Servant of God, Mother Maria Conception of St. James and St. Teresa, d.c.

Sacred Heart of Jesus, I trust in You. (3x)
I also received today the same package or parcel from CARMELITE NUNS. THANK YOU

Mariam Baouardy, O.C.D. (or Mary of Jesus Crucified) (5 January 1846 – 26 August 1878), was a Palestinian Discalced Carmelite nun of the Melkite Greek Catholic Church. She was a mystic, who experienced the stigmata, and has been beatified by the Catholic Church.During her whole life, she experienced periods or religious ecstasy frequently throughout the day. In April 1878 Mariam played an important role in the identification of the Biblical Emmaus thanks to a private revelation. She died on 26 August 1878 in Bethlehem, from a cancer which had developed in her bones as a result of the fall she had while working in the monastery, which led to gangrene that spread to her lungs

Servant of God, Mother Alphonsa, OP (Rose Hawthorne)
I got the relic prayer card of Servant of God, Mother Mary Alphonsa, OP, from a friend who sent me from the USA. The Altar Society there have materials years back: booklets, pamphlets, even relics (like this, plus St. Padre Pio, St. Anthony of Padua, St. Jude Thaddeus - 3rd class, the veil from Our Lady of Loreto, St. Peregrine - 3rd class, St. Therese of the Child Jesus - 3rd class petal, etc.).

We have to pray for Marcella, who provided me the materials…

lnce- The Discalced Carmelite Nuns in Palma de Mallorca, Islas Baleares (Spain) are so generous and kind. May God be with them.

Thank you and God bless you for sharing the lives of Saints. Blessed Mariam Baouardy, O.C.D is one of the many candidates for Sainthood that I appreciate.

prbarrera- God be with your friend who is very generous in sending you all of the blessed Devotional items.

**Dearest CAF Family and Members, I sincerely apologize to each and everyone of you for the way I have sent and shared the Devotional items with you – if there was only a better and a much more convenient way than I would but this is the only “safest” and “proper” way in sharing Contact Information with you.

As you may know by now, from all and the most previous PM’s I usually send it to Recipients in Alphabetical Order if I were to send an individual PM that would take me forever (laughs) 😃

So, I have to ask is everybody okay with sending me PM’s of the Contact Information in Alphabetical Order where other Recipients can see your PM or would you prefer if I sent this to you by Blind Carbon Copy? Please let me know? You can let me know on this thread and of course by PM.

Please do not suggest email please and thank you.

God bless,

PRAYER TO OBTAIN CANONIZATION FOR THE BLESSED MARY ELIZABETH HESSELBLAD

Holy Father, God of infinite goodness, I thank you because
you filled with the gifts of your Spirit, the Blessed
Mother Mary Elizabeth Hesselblad who consecrated
her whole life to love and adore you for doing all
your will.
Following the example of Saint Bridget of Sweden, has lived
the Word of life and has worked tirelessly
for the unity of Christians, so that everyone recognizes, in
fullness of Catholic faith, Christ the Savior who has
wanted the visible communion of those who, immersed
in the waters of Baptism, and sealed by the Spirit of love
live in one fold under one Shepherd.
I ask you, in communion with the whole church, to increase
in me and all Christians faith, hope and
charity, so that, following the example of Mother
Elizabeth, our life is always a perennial praise and
an endless thanks to You, O God, One and Triune.
I pray you, with humility and trust, to grant me, through the intercession
the Blessed Mother Elizabeth, this grace (invoke the grace to be obtained) in order to, for
your glory and the good of all Christians, come soon
the day of his canonization, and is venerated by
Universal Church in the Communion of Saints.

Through Christ our Lord.
Amenhttp://http://www.brigidine.org/en-EN/default.aspx?idl=46

PRAYER FOR CANONIZATION OF BRO. FORTUNATUS THANHÄUSER, OH

Ever loving and merciful Father, we thank you for giving us a patron and a great source of inspiration in our late Bro. Fortunatus. The words of Scripture, “Truly I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brethren, you did it to me” (Mt.25:40), have been personified in his life. Give us the grace to imitate him, in his singular love for God and our brothers and sisters. May his example draw us to see your sacred face in everyone, especially the poor, the needy, the sick and the suffering.

Most loving Jesus, we pray earnestly that the world may come to know the great virtues of our saintly Brother. It is our ardent wish and prayer that one day he may be raised to the honours of the altar. We humbly ask you for this grace, through the intercession of the same Bro. Fortunatus. We also pray that all who ask for any special favour through the intercession of Bro. Fortunatus may have the joy of receiving it. All this we ask you, through your Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

Litany of Blessed Mary Angela

Canticle of Zechariah
Antiphon: Teach me to do your will, for you are my God.

Canticle of Mary
Antiphon: My God, let it be done to me according to your will.

Prayer
God our Father,
you graced Blessed Mary Angela
with living faith and boundless love
which she manifested in complete surrender to your divine will.
By her prayers and witness may we strive to seek, to accept,
and to fulfill your will in all circumstances of our lives.
Grant this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,
one God, forever and ever. Amen.

Prayer for the Canonization of Blessed Louis and Zélie Martin – The Parents of St. Therese of Lisieux – Beatified on October 19, 2008, as Witnesses of Conjugal Love

God of eternal love, You give us Blessed Louis and Zelie Martin,
the parents of St. Therese, as an example of holiness in marriage.
They remained faithful to You and your commandments in all the duties
and trials of life. They desired to raise their children to become saints.

May their prayers and example help Christian family life to blossom in our world today.
If it be your will, grant us the grace we now ask of You through the intercession of
Blessed Louis and Zelie Martin, and let them be counted among the
Saints of the Church. Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen!

Prayer for the Beatification and Canonization
of Father Joseph Walijewski
(1924-2006)

Holy and Good God, your servant and priest, Father Joseph Walijewski, through priestly zeal and heroic holiness, defended innocence against the sadness of evil, especially to broken families and helpless children.

Imaging the Compassionate Christ, he led others to the font of sacramental life and the knowledge of Jesus Christ as their True and Only Savior.

Heavenly Father, we humbly pray You to raise up Your servant, Father Joseph Walijewski, whose joyful priestly heart was resolute in the Heart of Christ Jesus, to the courts of heaven; and, through Your Holy Spirit, who guides and leads the Church, give him to us as a saint and hero of this generation.

Through his example may there be a new urgency of souls for Christ. Through his intercession, I humbly ask (make your intention here) through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Bishop William Patrick Callahan, OFM Conv.
Diocese of La Crosse, Wis.

My prayers have been answered over the last two months. The requests I’ve made to several Postulators and Congregations have paid off. I am so happy since this is something new for me as I have not requested for relics before.

Goforgoal- thank you for answering all my questions and helping out a lot! 🙂

Salesian saints relic cards (ex indumentis/ex linteis) Some of them are very old as I could tell by the discolored paper and the very distinct embossed logo at the back to secure the relic.

I was blessed to receive a Saint Michael medal last week. It was completely free.
I intend on making a donation to them when i get paid.

americaneedsfatima.blogspot.com/2011/02/get-free-saint-michael-medal.html?m=1

One side has St. Michael on it and the other side says guardian angel on it with an image.

The papers it came with say it was blessed by a priest before being send to me.

I haven’t taken it off since I’ve gotten it 🙂

I’m trying to find a crucifix to add to it on the same necklace but my money situation is so
bad right now i can’t afford one. I thank God for the people at ANF.com for
making and giving these medals free of charge for people like me for are in financial troubles.

God bless everyone
