(Koran 69:30-37) “It is not for any Prophet to have captives until he hath made slaughter in the land. You desire the lure of this world and Allah desires for you the hereafter and Allah is Mighty, Wise… Now enjoy what you have won as lawful and good and keep your duty to Allah. Lo! Allah is forgiving, merciful.”

(Koran 2:216) “Warfare is ordained for you, though it is hateful unto you; but it may happen that you hate a thing which is good for you and it may happen that you love a thing which is bad for you. Allah knoweth, you knew not.”

(Koran 8:12) "Remember Thy Lord inspired the angels (with the message): “I am with you: give firmness to the believers, I will instill terror into the hearts of the unbelievers, Smite ye above their necks and smite all their finger tips of them.”

(Koran 5: 33-34) “The only reward of those who make war upon Allah and His messenger and strive after corruption in the land will be that they will be killed or crucified, or have their hands and feet and alternate sides cut off, or will be expelled out of the land. Such will be their degradation in the world, and in the Hereafter theirs will be an awful doom; Save those who repent before ye overpower them. For know that Allah is forgiving, merciful.”

(Koran 76: 4) “Lo! We have prepared for disbelievers chains, yokes and a blazing fire.”

**
[9:29] You shall fight back against those who do not believe in GOD, nor in the Last Day, nor do they prohibit what GOD and His messenger have prohibited, nor do they abide by the religion of truth - among those who received the scripture - until they pay the due tax, willingly or unwillingly. **

Now I know there are those that may feel I’m being unfair, but the bolded passage is straight from the Koran, it is what every Muslim must do, by a requirement from Muhammed. Either we believe, or we pay the dhimmi, or the tax to remain unbelievers so we know we’re subjugated. That’s the plain truths, and no matter of meetings and understanding worshops is going to change the Koran or how muslims live by it.

Welcome to the club of those of us who have had enough of the politically-correct doubletalk, Mike_D30.

This is a real war between civilizations, and “tolerance” of a violent, anti-social, anti-Christian, anti-Western, anti-everything-that-is-not-Muslim religion is nothing more than cultural suicide.

Mike, topic title should’ve been : Religion of PIECE? Like wolsely say welcome to the club! Being factually correct is morally more respected rather than being politically correct just to please some people here. 🙂

The root of Islamofacist’s leadership is based upon the entire Moslem religion being totally dysfunctional, or any standard of modern culture. Consequently, the dysfunctional fringe can be recruited as terrorist bombers to resolve their 1,400 years of shackled freedom.

Now, if there is a worldwide Economic collapse – which is highly probable - rendering the disenfranchised Muslims becoming even more isolated and culturally deprived, the terrorist will have an even more willing Neutral Muslim population to recruit new bombers to help destroy Western Civilization.

And for icing on the cake, hundreds of millions of dollars of Middle East oil money will continue to fund the terrorists who are recruited. This means that large sums of money will continue to go to the families of martyred terrorists, thereby facilitating family approval of this inhuman cultural cancer.

GregoryPalamas:
Here’s another report of peace loving Muslims in Turkey who just killed another priest.

asianews.it/view.php?l=en&art=5352

CDL
I think that’s the third priest killed. All this because Denmark printed stuff about Muhamed. Yet they kill Turkish priests to the chant of “we will kill you all”? To me that seems to lean to the idea that Muslim’s are looking for any reason to kill Christians. And they are deadly serious when they say “we will kill you all”. Wake up folks this is NOT a religion of peace.

How many Iman’s were killed in the US after 9/11, after 3,000 people were murdered? I am pretty certain none were.

Judges Chapter 1/verse 1: "After the death of Joshua, the Israelites consulted the lord, asking, “who shall be first among us to attack the canaanites and to do battle with them? The Lord answered Judah shall attack:I have delieved the land into his power.”

Judges Chapter 1/Verse 6: “…Adonibezek fled. They set our pursuit, and when they caught him, cut off his thumbs and his big toe.”

Judges Chapter 1/Verse 25: " He showed them a way into the city, which they then put to the sword…"

Leviticus, Chapter 26, verses 7-9: “You will chase your enemies, and they shall fall by the sword before you. Five of you shall chase a hundred, and a hundred of you shall put ten thousand to flight; your enemies shall fall by the sword before you. For I will look on you favorably and make you fruitful, multiply you and confirm My covenant with you. You shall eat the old harvest, and clear out the old because of the new”

1 Samuel Chapter 15/Verse 2 : “Thus says the Lord of hosts, “I will punish the Amalekites for what they did in opposing the Israelities when they came up out of Egypt. Now go and attack Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have; do not spare them, but kill both man and woman, child and infant, ox and sheep, camel and donkey”.

The Israelites slaughter Hamor and his city and plunder it (Gen 34).
Moses is commanded by God to exterminate the Canaanites, the
Amorites and the people of Bashan “and show no mercy” (Deut
7:1-2, 9:3, Num 21).
Moses orders “every man” among the Israelites to slay his brother, companion and neighbor, as a punishment for the
idolatry of all, and 3000 die (Ex 32:27-28).
God commands Moses to slaughter 24,000 people and hang their
heads in the sun (Num 25).
God commands Moses to slay the Midianites because the Israelites are seduced by them. All males (including infants) and
adult women are killed; virgins are enslaved (Num 25:17, 31:1-2, 7, 15-18).
God’s annihilation of Sihon’s people and others (Deut 2:30-35,
36, 3:1-7).
God commands Moses, in any city near the promised land which does not agree to become a vassal state of the Israelites, to kill all the males and take the women and children as slaves and the animals as booty, but in any city in the promised land the Israelites are to kill every living thing, sparing no one (Deut 20:10-17).Joshua, with the help of God, annihilates numerous tribes and
cities, “left none breathing,” “destroyed all that breathed, as God commanded” (Josh 6:21, 8:24-27, 10:, 11:11,14,21-22).
Judah slays 10,000 Canaanites (Judg 1:4) and 10,000 Moabites
(Judg 3:29)
Danites destroy “peaceful” Laish and kill its people for no reason (Judg 18:27). Judah and Simeon utterly destroy Zephath (Judg 1:17). Samuel tells Saul that God wants to annihilate the Amalekites, including infants and women, which Saul then does, slaying all the inhabitants except Agag the king (1 Sam 15:1-9).
David leaves no man or woman alive in the countries he invades:
Geshurites, Gezrites and Amalekites (1 Sam 27:9,11).
David takes Rabbah and puts its people “under saws…and harrows… and axes of iron and made them pass through the
brickkiln” and does the same to all the cities of Ammon (2 Sam 12:31, 1 Chr 20:3).
David executes 2/3 of Moab by measuring a line (2 Sam 8:2). More slaughter by David (2 Sam 8:5, 13, 10:18). God helps Judah kill 50,000 Israelites (2 Chr 13:17).
Esther gets permission for the Jews to slaughter all their enemies, including women and children, which they do, then celebrate it and institute the feast of Purim to remember it
(Esther 8:11, 9:1-19).
“Let none [of Babylon] escape” (Jer 50:29).
“Slay utterly old and young, both maids and little children,”
says God (Ezek 9:6).

There are plenty more quotes i can use… I mean LOL, you people think that the quran has bad passages, look at the passages from the Bible!!!

I can’t help but notice you have NO quotes from Jesus or the New Testament???

In the New Testament God gives mankind the New and Everlasting Covenant of Jesus Christ, where does Christianity preach violence in any form?

A Christian follows the teachings of Christ (as taught in the NEW TESTAMENT). That is why the books are broken down into the (pre-Christ) Old Testament, with Christ (New Testament).

This keeps getting explained to you, why you have a hard time grasping it is beyond me, you either:

a. Aren’t intelligent enough to grasp a concept my four year old can.

b. Just want to malign, and criticize Christians using any way possible. (although using the Old Testament more maligns Jews and Muslim’s since Christians are set free from that behavior and that covenenant with God through Jesus Christ).

Juding your other post about all Christians being drug addicts, drunk and having sex all the time. I’m guessing that you’re just bitter and hate filled and love arguing.

And you just proved another point of mine, LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL!!!

That christians only follow JESUS!!! LOLOLOLOLOL!!! Yet Jesus himself said he came to fulful the prophets before him, yet you only truly follow JESUS!!! LOLOLOLOLOL!!! You christians are horrible at arguing, lol

Despite your patronizing LOL’s, you completely missed the point…

To Christians the Old Testament is there to speak of Christ to come. The prophets before Christ are there to fulfill the utltimate coming of Jesus Christ the Messiah.

And you didn’t address one point in my argument to you, you just rambled on with a bunch of LOLs, and you still look just as foolish.

Pulling quotes out of context to bash people with is not an honest way to debate with people. If you wanted to treat the Bible the same way, you can do worse. These are just a small selection:

Deuteronomy 20:

13 And when the Lord thy God hath delivered it {the city}into thine hands, thou shalt smite every male thereof with the edge of the sword:

14 But the women, and the little ones, and the cattle, and all that is in the city, even all the spoil thereof, shalt thou take unto thyself; and thou shalt eat the spoil of thine enemies, which the Lord thy God hath given thee.

15 Thus shalt thou do unto all the cities which are very far off from thee, which are not of the cities of these nations.

16 But of the cities of these people, which the Lord thy God doth give thee for an inheritance, thou shalt save alive nothing that breatheth:
In modern English, that would be called war crime.

Deuteronomy 25:

17 Remember what Amalek did unto thee by the way, when ye were come forth out of Egypt;

18 How he met thee by the way, and smote the hindmost of thee, even all that were feeble behind thee, when thou wast faint and weary; and he feared not God.

19 Therefore it shall be, when the Lord thy God hath given thee rest from all thine enemies round about, in the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee for an inheritance to possess it, that thou shalt blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven; thou shalt not forget it.
That would definitely be called genocide!

1 Samuel 15:

1 Samuel also said unto Saul, The Lord sent me to anoint thee to be king over his people, over Israel: now therefore hearken thou unto the voice of the words of the Lord.

2 Thus saith the Lord of hosts, I remember that which Amalek did to Israel, how he laid wait for him in the way, when he came up from Egypt.

3 Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and a-s-s {changed to a-s-s force the software to print it}.
And so would this!

1 Chronicles 20:

2 And David took the crown of their king from off his head, and found it to weigh a talent of gold, and there were precious stones in it; and it was set upon David’s head: and he brought also exceeding much spoil out of the city.

3 And he brought out the people that were in it, and cut them with saws, and with harrows of iron, and with axes. Even so dealt David with all the cities of the children of Ammon. And David and all the people returned to Jerusalem.
You have to invent a new name for this one I suppose!

Not quite as witty as you thought huh? I am well aware of the levels of violence in the Old Testament. However as Christians we are free from this in Jesus.

Mormon’s claim to be Christians, you should be well aware of this.

The NT has nothing to do with it. Since when did the OT cease to be Christian scripture? If you have the right to pull a few verses out of context from the Koran to bash the Moslems with, then they have equally the right to pull out verses out of context from the OT to bash you with. If “an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth” was good enough for the Jews, it was also good enough for the Arabs.
Mormon’s claim to be Christians, you should be well aware of this.
You bet they are! That is why they disapprove of unfair debating tactics, even against a non-Christian. “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you,” Jesus taught. “Love thy enemy!” “Turn the other cheek!” “Bless them that curse you, and do good to them that hate you!” Let’s see you apply some of these principles for a change.

I am as much ready to defend the right of a Moslem against unfair representation, as I am to defend the right of a Catholic against unfair representation.

The fact you have no ability to discern the difference between the Old Testament (something the Jews and Muslim’s use too, it’s by no means solely Christian), and the New Testament where the attonement of Christ freed Christians from the law of the Old Testament. Tells me you need to study a little more about Christianity and less about Joseph Smith.

I turn the other Cheek everyday, I love my enemies. But it’s also a grave sin for me to not defend the the Catholic Church, which is what I do when I point out your half truths about the book of mormon you pervert the board with. And some Muslim’s obvious disrespect for the Catholic Church. So I will let God judge me, and not you. What kind of Christian judges someone from a Catholic message board, BASED SOLELY FOR DEBATING OTHER RELIGIONS? You know nothing about me, or how I live my life as a Christian. Apologetics isn’t pretty, if you need to insult me to get a point across you should just step away from it.

I’m still waiting for you to post something from “CHRIST” as in Jesus taught in the New Testament preaching violence. The NT is the only solely Christian scripture in the Bible, the rest is shared amongst all Abrahamaic religions.

So once you get me a piece of scripture from the NT uniquely Christian preaching violence, I will debate you, until then you have no point, you’re just complaining and following from topic to topic, making poor points and trying to judge me.

Again I apologize if you are upset by the truths I posted about the book of mormon. It is a Catholic site, and the book of mormon is clear heretical teachings, and we are to defend our faith against it. Go to the one of many pro-mormon boards if any criticism of the book of mormon, or joseph smith offends you. It’s not my aim to upset you.

Then provide modern examples with your quotes from the OT, the quotes you made are more of a historical significance, not commandments that are being acted upon.

So, by this you defend the war crimes of Muslims?

Christianity is based on the NT, failing to recognize this is ignorant. The Ot mentions not eating pork, yet that is not a rule, for Christ said to be more concerned with what comes out of your mouth, than what goes into it.
