Well then, I am sure you will be quick to denounce Pope Benedict XVI. After all he went to a mosque in Turkey and prayed with the imam there. Then the was John Paul II kissing the Qu’ran. Heresy
Indeed.

Heresy.

None of us are perfect, not even the popes.

The government has the right to limit or prohibit any type of worship that is not deemed Catholic by the Church.
Well having the right also means that governments also can still choose to turn a blind eye and ignore or even do the opposite.

Yes.

I don’t have to “accuse” him, it IS an act of heresy!
Well to me it appears we have a budding Protestant here. Applying his own interpretation of the Church’s teaching over the authority of the successor of Peter.

Uh, no.

The Church has laid it out pretty clearly that Catholics are not to worship with non-Catholics.

The fact that modern popes do otherwise doesn’t make it “right”, it just means they are committing acts of heresy.

Like I said, I’m not accusing him, because it needs no “accusation”.

Worshiping with Mohammedans is heresy, plain and simple.

I don’t go around publicizing that the pope committed an act of heresy, quite frankly I don’t even like to think about it!

Can a heretic be Pope? Are you a sedevacantist?

you publicized it here by making the accusation!!! this is a PUBLIC forum!!!

A “heretic” can’t be a pope, but I’m convinced that Benedict XVI is no “heretic”, despite committing an act of heresy by worshiping with Mohammedans.

No, I’m no sede vacantist.

I admire all of the “modern” popes (post-Pius XII), despite their problems. It’s been a problematic 50+ years, that the Church has managed to make it this far is a testament to the strengths of the men in charge, despite their weaknesses.

who are YOU to judge what the pope did as an act of heresy? who ARE you to say he did? you have NO right to state he commited an act of heresy!! that is NOT for you to decide!!! your not his judge!!!
