I am sure most of you remember me…over a month ago I came here seeking help when I unexpectedly became pregnant and my DH and I wanted to have an abortion. Your prayers truly helped us to make the right decision and go forward trusting in God and getting ready to have a baby.
My first three weeks of pregnancy were not easy. I was having spotting that concerned both myself and my doctor. I ended up going in for an ultrasound at the hospital one day and also to the ER the night before we left on a trip to Hawaii. Both times everything still looked okay. We got to see the baby and its heartbeat.
The first night we arrived in Hawaii - I started to miscarry. It was the most traumatic thing that has ever happened to me. It is something that I will never forget.
We are both so heartbroken and trying to find a way through our grief. We have so many unanswered questions and so easily can fall into thoughts of guilt. I am still trusting in God - and know that His plan is bigger than mine. I have peace knowing that I did all I could for my child while he was here - I will always love him and he will be in my heart. I will see him one day and I cannot wait for that moment when we are united.
I humbly ask for your prayers again for us. That the Lord may be with us during this time and help us in our sadness.
Thank you CAF community.
