Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Our Father Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name.
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us,
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Thanks for your continued prayers, I have really appreciated them and I believe they are helping. I’m still not feeling the greatest, have been up and down a lot in the past 2 weeks. But I have started therapy and can see a light at the end of the tunnel. I have some good supports in place, between my therapist and my priest (who has offered to talk to me anytime about it). I’m still looking for a support group as well. The best part is that I am no longer suicidal. I didn’t mention being suicidal before because I figured that was inappropriate on an internet forum… but I struggled with those feelings for a couple of weeks or so. But those feelings have completely gone now, I’m not really depressed at all at this point… on the contrary, quite hopeful. Thanks again to all of you, I am sure your prayers have made a big difference for me. God bless you all.

Praise to you, Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, source of all consolation and hope.

By Your Son’s dying and rising He remains our light in every darkness, our strength in every weakness.

Be the refuge and guardian of all who suffer from abuse and violence.

Comfort them and send healing for their wounds of body, soul and spirit.

Rescue them and refresh them with Your love.

Heal the brokenness in all victims of abuse and revive the spirits of

all who lament.

Help us to follow Jesus in drawing good from evil, life from death.

Make us one with You in Your love for justice as we deepen our respect

for the dignity of every human life.

Giver of peace, make us one in celebrateing Your praise, both now and forever
AMEN

Continued prayers for you, Judith.

Remember that you don’t have to tell us anything you don’t want to, but for whatever you feel you need to get off your chest, we’re here for you, even if all you ask is for a prayer for an intention you don’t feel right in discussing. 🙂

The Importance of Forgetting
“What a curious thing …for the brain to do, manufacture chemicals that interfere with its own ability to make memories…forgetting is a mental operation, not a breakdown of one….think how quickly the sheer volume and multiplicity of sensory information we receive every waking minute would overwhelm our consciousness if we couldn’t quickly forget a great deal more of it than we remember…our mental health depends on a mechanism for editing the moment-by-moment ocean of sensory data flowing into our consciousness down to a manageable trickle of the noticed and remembered. The cannabinoid network appears to be part of that mechanism, vigilantly sifting the vast chaff of sense impression from the kernels of perceptions we need to remember if we’re to get though the day and get on with what needs to be done. Much depends on forgetting.”

As your struggles attest to.

God bless.
