Wow, thank you all for continuing to pray for me. I had a very bad couple of weeks, thought I was going totally insane, but after speaking to my priest… it turns out I was under spiritual attack. I am significantly better the last week, going to mass every day and obeying the directives of my priest. I’m having a bit of a break from my therapy because of the holidays, but I start up again next week. I’m feeling much better overall though, thanks so much for the prayers, I’m sure they helped give me the strength to approach my priest during the spiritual attack. I’m also having fewer nightmares and sleeping better. I’ve felt a strong desire to pray for my attacker also. Sounds weird, but its a very comforting feeling to have, much better than the anger and hating him. Thank you all for your prayers, which I have no doubt are helping me! Please continue.

Remember, O most loving Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, we turn to you, O Virgins of virgins, our Mother. To you we come, before you we stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, do not despise our petitions, but in your mercy hear us and answer us. Amen

Still praying for you, Judith.

Doesn’t sound weird at all that you want to pray for your attacker, on the contrary it seems perfectly natural as you continue healing and coming closer to God. Our Lord told us to love our enemy, and now He’s working on your heart to do that and so much more. 😃

Hail Mary full of grace
the Lord is with thee
blessed art thou among women
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb,Jesus
Holy mary Mother of God
pray for us sinners
now and at the hour of our death Amen

A Novena Prayer to the Sacred Heart of Jesus
Sacred Heart of Jesus, we know that there is but one thing impossible to You: to be without pity for those who are in suffering or distress. Look down on us, we beg of You and grant us the grace which we humbly and earnestly implore, through the Immaculate Heart of Your most sorrowful Mother to whom You confided us as her children, and whose prayers are all powerful with You. Amen.

Novena Prayer to St. Eugene De Mazenod
St. Eugene,
By your example, touch me to see Jesus in others, to help those in need, and to have the courage to do God’s will.
I ask you to intercede on my behalf for a special need.
May God, through your intercession, guide me to accept the difficulties in my life and to work toward a happy and healthy solution.
May I accept God’s will in my life with strength and love.
I ask this through His Son Jesus Christ.
Amen.

Father, we beseech You to continue strengthening Susan as she journeys toward You. Fill her heart with hope and love, that she may no longer remember that which the evil one has subjected her to. Rather, Lord, inspire her to prayer on behalf of conversion of the soul that perpetrated evil against her. Lord, You know that her forgiveness of evil will open her heart to forgiveness of herself, just as You have forgiven her. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your only Son, Who lives and reigns with You, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, One God for ever and ever. Amen! Alleluia!

Prayer of Confidence to St. Anthony
Most holy St. Anthony, Beloved Friend of Jesus, I place myself in your heavenly care. Be with me, especially in life’s troubles and difficulties. Intercede before the Lord for me, so that I may confidently know I do not face my problems alone.

I join my prayers to yours, O Great Saint, as I ask God to give me consolation in times of sorrow, courage when I am afraid, and healing from all the ills that afflict me.

Obtain for me from God, Most High, the grace to accept whatever is God’s holy will for me and my loved ones. Strengthen my faith so that I will never despair, but always have hope in God’s healing presence and power in my life. Amen
